So, first print test, first failure! Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I didn't change the settings from the default, which I know are set to work with the translucent green sample resin (which I didn't get). I'm using Anycubic Grey instead.

It looks like it didn't ever stick to the build plate at all.

Still curing it though, because I loves my first baby boy ;)

Thoughts?

Found the reason why it took forever for my prints to cure I think.

Shouldn't I get a 405 wl or higher for most resins?

I had to sacrifice my FEP to the resin gods before the puncture demon got me. So I printed this cool castle I found on thingiverse. Seems the gods are happy and I have a castle for the snow globe. You can get the model here.. thingiverse.com/thing:862724 ? ? ?

Hey all can someone point me in the right direction for related help docs. I have a Photon (no s) and I'm out of ideas why my work wont stick to the build plate. After the print completes it leaves the partial project in the try. I leveled and zeroed the plate (many times), checked the LCD operation, firmware update, different items with different type of supports, different resins and still nothing. Thanks for your help

So back in October, I had asked whether users of this group used an Android or iPhone as their daily driver. The response was overwhelmingly Android. I decided to go with Flutter so that I could make it available to both sets of people.

I am a student learning mobile development and wanted to make a sort of social platform for resin 3D printers, as a study project. I had this idea as there were a number of places to go on the internet for help with my Photon and thought it would be nice if there was a single feed of sorts. I also implemented a place to save resin profiles as I know I have had to consult that google docs page a number of times and thought it a good way to keep track of what's working.

I would really appreciate it if some of you would try it out and let me know what you think. My teacher will be grading me in a couple of weeks and it would really help if there was some activity in the app to show that I had gotten real people to use it and go through the results.

Can i use dye with any clear and white resin or are there specific resins used with dye?

Need a bit of science advice before I buy something stupid.
I'm looking at a 100w blacklight thinking "Oooh big number! That means it cures resin fast right?" but I hear that the optimal curing rate has to do with a specific wavelength. I'm not savvy on wattage or lighting or spectral science so could someone tell me if my reasoning is sound or not? Will a super powerful blacklight cure prints quickly and thoroughly?

This has to be the best item I have 3d printed..

We used really flexible resin. Fine tuned all the settings.

We did have a failed print on Christmas day 2017. But we went back to the drawing board and made sure all the settings were right and it stuck to the build plate. Took 9 months to print but was worth it.

The resin used what great and true to the manufactures word it grows in size.

Been told it take 18 year to cure. So far 1 year has passed so only another 17 to go!

Hey guys and gals. Well my epax x1 is set to arrive on Saturday, I've had a pla printer for a year now and I'm so excited and a little nervous all at the same time. I'm looking at printing miniatures mainly but can't wait to see what it can do.

I've ordered resin. I'm set for gloves, got some iso coming for clean up.

What else should I be thinking about with this imminent arrival.
