Looking for your suggestions on draining hollowed prints. Since I’m doing human figures, I print the head separately and the drain hole is an 1/8” drill hole at the neck.

The issue I’m having is, that after soaking them in IPA, they continually drain.

These figures are for a game that utilizes the figures but they have weight limits, so the lighter the better, otherwise is just cure them and be done with it.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys - Another Noob question here.

I have some models I’m trying to print in reverse. The issue is, when I use auto support, the left on some work, but the same model that’s been mirrored is supported different and it results in missing hands or fingers.

I’ve tried to add individual supports but the AC slicer doesn’t always allow me to add supports where they’re needed.

Question 1:

If I run a model through auto support and decide to add a support, is there a way to force a support on the model?

Question 2:

If I take one model that has been supported and save it as an stl, can I then import it back to the slicer and print it as is?

Because if I can, I can mirror the functioning model and eliminate the issue.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Michael

Well, after a ricky start, I had numerous prints with no issues. And then this happened. Any ideas as to why and better yet, a solution?

I have a question as a newbie.

I’m printing what is approximately a 1:53 scale figure that stands on a flat platform.

The platform is about as thick as a US .25 cent coin and is about 15x25mm in size.

My question is, how do I minimize the curling of the flat platform once it’s printed.

Any thoughts? I checked the files section but couldn’t find anything that stood out.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi Folks and thanks for the add.

My first post to the group. I’m new to 3D printing and am finally using my Photon I bought about 10 months ago.

Can someone direct to a link or file that as anything on failed prints?

Most of my printed are failing and the resin is sticking to the FEP.

I’m sure I’m not the only one to have experienced this - looking for ideas as to how to minimize or eliminate this issue.

Thanks

Michael from SF
