Tax related question for 3D Printing. Those of you in the U.S. with an official printing business (LLC, etc.) what Business Code do you use when you file? I'm looking in the manufacturing section and see "Plastics and rubber products mfg." and I'm thinking that's a pretty good fit, any input from anyone in the know? Thanks

Ok Photonsters I need some brain power. My problem is that I am getting some cured resin on my FEP after prints, in patterns/spots that don't make a whole lot of sense to me. The prints are coming out fine with no failures, I just get left with a goo/cured resin on my FEP. Here is what I've done in my troubleshooting.....

1) New USB

2) New FEP

3) New LCD

4) Re-level

5) Flashed Epax firmware that is supposed to combat frame shearing

6) Run my files through the validator to correct any missed islands

These are files and prints I've printed in the past without issue, so that leads me to believe it is happening between my computer and the machine. I use Elegoo Grey and 8 base layers @60 and normal layers @11. Again, these are settings I've used fine for months and months and based off the resin exposure test I did here. I'm open to suggestions here, I'm pretty stumped and think I've gone through all the appropriate checks here.

I'm getting a thin layer of semi cured resin in the bottom of my vat after prints. I changed and tuned my FEP, LCD seems to still be fine based on my tests (see video for a couple layers). Do you think maybe the black on LCD just is wearing out and letting a tiny bit of light through? Enough to give me goo?

Edit: My layer times are sped up in the test so I can view more layers quickly. Normally I'm at 11 seconds a layer.

Quick question. Do you have to replace LCD on the Mars and Epax like you have to on the Photon?

Question for those of you who SELL prints. I sell prints at a small scale and right now have 2 printers with 2 more on the way. My question is how many printers do you run? I'm finding quickly that 2 just isn't enough to keep up with orders. The other side is the cleaning and curing time. Simple Green is leaving a nasty sticky residue, even in an ultrasonic cleaner, so I'm forced to hand scrub each print with IPA and a toothbrush, very labor/time intensive. Just looking for a little guidance from some of you with bigger scale operations. Help is appreciated and like always, if you don't have something helpful/constructive to say, please scroll on past. Thanks guys/gals!

So, I'm finding the fumes of the IPA are much more of an irritant for my throat than the smell of the resin. For breathing PPE, what kind of masks do you guys use? Just a dust mask or do you go for an N-95 or what?

Seems like my prints are taking longer and longer to cure under my lamps. I have two styles, one big main and a set of those LED UV string lights. They have been working great, but lately my prints seem tacky for a LONG time (like 2 hours). The lights are advertised in the correct wavelength, and they have been working fine. Anyone experience this? I'm using elegoo grey.

Alright, so why in Chitubox can I not move supports OFF of the figure? In photon slicer, you can easily. I want supports to be anchored to the plate, not other spots on the model. Anyone have any tips? I have videos of me doing/trying in both slicers.

So I'm having a hard time editing supports in Chitubox. I'd like to move where the bottom of the support connects to the model, but I can't select the middle cylinder portion to move it. I can only select the bottom cone, and you can only realistically move that so much. I'd like to have the support not be straight down. Any help?
