Hi guys and girls first off thanks for adding me to the group... ? ....second off do you have any advice for a complete beginner I've done a lot of research on 3d printers and I definitely want to do resin prints as the quality of the prints are better..should I get the Anycubic photon or the photon s?..and what are the differences between the two...and how user friendly are they?..do I need to have a degree in computer science to operate it ?

Has anyone here who is UK based used resin from technologyoutlet.co.uk

They seem quite cheap and offer discount from your second order onwards.

I have just ordered my photon as I keep getting failed prints on my sparkmaker. It should be interesting to see if this printer fails as they both use the same software.

HELP "photon-S" users .The XP Finder test can not be used on "photon-S" because "S"version does not read the gcode files of this test :( .

What the best test to find resin settings on "S" ??

(Ameralabs takes too long and not easy for me to "read")

A strange little job this time. Control knobs for an electric guitar.

Update:- OK. A bit of context and background.

Someone asked me if I could print off a set of guitar knobs for a vintage electric guitar that they are restoring.

I started trying these out in Elegoo Transparent but couldn't get the settings dialled in. Having had previous success with Anycubic Clear Resin I decided to go back and do the print with that. Here is the result.

Time now for the clean-up, curing and then see how they function when fitted to the guitar.

Hey Folks, I've been lurking for a while reading up on everything before i start printing. I have a few questions about some of the settings in Chitubox.

I've read the reference data sheet for the Anycubic White resin that ill be using and cant seem to find any reference to certain settings. Mostly the ones on the right side. Should i be worried about any of these?

Also, I'm pretty much only going to be printing D&D minis, any advice on settings that worked for you and advice on how to place them before printing?
