Hi guys! First of all, thanks for admitting me.
I have bought a second hand photon and i received it yesterday, with maroon resin bottle (new).
The printer seems to be perfect, i only changed FEP film to start to printing as new machine, but I have a problem: Resin stuck to the FEP always. I adjust FEP tension, warm the resin, testing using spreadsheet parameters for maroon resin, but nothing happens. There is something that scapes me. Any ideas? Thanks for advice! Regards.

This is what keep happening to me I have files on this memory stick and other but when plugged into the machine it’s lights up but the machine registers nothing on the memory stick and I have the latest firmware idk what else to try any suggestions and help please

Excuse me all for my previous question. If I had gone to read previous posts about Z zero before I would have had the answer. Beginner error. When leveling and then homing, the machine goes to zero. But this does not correspond to the zeroing. If you start a print without FEP on the sheet of paper you will notice that the new value in Z has been acquired.

Hello to all ?

Got my hands on a photon for testing and most certainly buying it. Just ran a couple test now.

Main question here : As a form2 user I'm trying to figure out how close the photon can go with details ?
Ran several tests with monocure rapid grey, printed at 25 mic with 8 sec exposure time, and I still have a "melted wax" effect (visible on the hand holding the halberd). I mainly print "mechanical" models (vehicle/ships) with lots of hard lines on details at the millimeter scale.

I'm aware that it's a combination of resin, resin settings and printer. Are there resin better suited to handle crisp details ?
Would a heater in the machine help fluidify the resin ?
Is LCD exposure an intrinsic limitation for hard edge details (melted wax effect) ?

looking at adding a photon s to the fdm machine I have, what sort of engineering resins are available in the UK. and do any of you make functional parts with these machines? examples?

Just about the max size possible on our machine. 12 hours of printing. Note how the raft has edges that are angled to make removal from the build plate easy. Love this feature of ChiTuBox.

I tried printing a model twice and had the base curl towards the front of the machine. Model turned out fine but can figure out why it is happening. Bed is leveled (other prints are working)

Well there's my problem. The bottom of my LCD died. They're great machines, but quality is a thing. Ordered this thing just about a month ago ? guess I'll be contacting support then. Is there anything else I can do, maybe check the cables? Is the screen divided in 2 parts or something, like are there 2 seperate cables, one for the top half and one for the down half?
