So I have a few prints with Elegood grey done (the one that says "ABS strong" on the box or something similar). I've noticed that the prints always remain a bit sticky. Not like resin sticky but just a little bit. This is after long curing of 20 or 30 minutes under UV lamps and sitting outside for a few days. Is this normal?

Absolute total noob with nothing more than watching a few YouTube tutorials under my belt. I took my time with the setup and the test print and it seems to have paid off. I was a little nervous after reading some of the horror stories here. Just wanted to encourage the other noobs out there. Didn't mess with any of the settings (although I was tempted) and let it print with right out of the box specs.

Hi guys,
i just bought my Photon on Aliexpress yesterday with the current nice discounts. I cant wait to receive and try it ! ?
I have few questions about where to put my printer and how to handle the resin vapors.
I am living in a kinda small appartment with a 5yo kid and without any dedicated room where i could put it. So i was thinking about 2 solutions :
- to put it outside in my balcony, but the weater is starting to be cold in Paris. Is the resin working well at low temperature (let's say 5°C) ?
- to put it in night in my kitchen that i could lock and do this kind of air extraction : https://plastikjunkies.de/anycubic-photon-absaugung-raus-mit-dem-geruch/ . Do you guys know if it's safe to put it close from food ?
Do you have any other idea ? I need to find a solution before to receive it or my wife gonna definitely kill me ?

Dear All,

I am running into some issues wih the resin XP finder.

I am having a black resin (IFUN ABS Like)

I am running the exposure finder and coming back to a flat single sheet without any markings on there (the positive and negative etc).

My plate is levelled (flint reed method. the film that comes out indicated that the buildplate is nice and flat levelled). I activated the testmode properly before starting the XP resin test.

Any remarks on what i am doing wrong or recommendations/tips and tricks?

NEW UPDATE: Finally worked!!! Thank you so much everyone for your help!

UPDATE: so we leveled the plate, cleaned it up, used fresh new resin (black) and this is the result.

Feeling somewhat frustrated... tried printing for the very first time and absolutely nothing printed... twice. Have no idea what I'm doing wrong. ?

Hey guys, I am testing the anycubic castable resin. I sent some of them to a local casting center but they say it doesnt come out well. Does anyone know the casting/burnout parameters for this resin?
