Hi guys, I bought a NF-A12x15 120 mm Noctua fan to put at the bottom of my Photon S. All the cables have 4-pins and as such, I don't know where to plug it on the Motherboard.
Do I need an adaptator that gives me 2x2 pins ? Anything else ? Was my interpretation from the results of my search bad and did I buy the wrong fan ?
Any help will be appreciated. Please if you can, provide pictures of the motheboard plugs/adaptators references, it will help me better than text (I like images when talking about hardware). Thank you

You bought a wrong fan with pwm. You need a fan with 3 pins, which you can run, with just 2 pins installed. The 3rd pin is for the sensor. But a 4 pin fan needs a pwm driver, which the photon board doesn't have and so it can't drive it, unfortunately

Audrey Col you can't just directly plug it in, you need to cut the cables and solder it to the 2 pins of your old fan ?

Those will work, but as I recall it was quiet hard to plug them in, at least I couldn't get the old plug out and therefore I just cut the cables ?

Pierre Eichel I plugged the stock one out already. But it will require a bit of finger finesse plugging anything back in ? ?

Hi guys. I am a Photon S owner, but I believe this can be answered also by normal Photon owners.

I am currently testing different options, to see what allows me the best setup for what I want. I am testing most of all so there is no need to advise me for one in particular.

I would like to know something about the official Anycubic slicer. I am using the latest version which they say can output files in .photons, which I'm using because I didn't update my Photon S since I got it in october and it wasn't locked to .pws.

How do I tell it to save in .photons (or .photon for Photon owners) please ? Here I have this option, and during slicing I have progress bars for the different formats, BUT it only saves as .pws in reality. I don't have a .photon or a .photons file in my folders when the progress ends.

Hey guys. This is a model i'd like to print (6 cm tall), so it'll be my first hollowing (2 mm shell). Since the bottom of the model is pretty flat, I decided to put one 6 mm hole.
Should it be enough ? Should I add another one ? Where ?

Hello, can anyone explain to me how the "volumic" resin exposure tests work please? Like the one in the picture.
It seems that you can print several of them at the same time, but they end up having different exposure settings each.
I did not manage to catch/see/understand what makes it possible (spent quite some time watching videos, searching for conversarions here...) and I would greatly appreciate some explanation please.

Because I'm an idiot and getting fed up after several print failures piling on top of each other and not managing to get even one proper piece after 10+ tries, I made a mistake and poured (through a filter, I'm not THAT idiot) the bottom of my vat (with transparent green resin, probably 50 mL approx) in my brand new untouched bottle of 500 mL opaque orange.

What should I do now ? Can I still use the mix by doing intermediate exposure time settings ?

Please, really please, don't go "pay more attention" or "store your bottles otherwise", I had a complete meltdown over it and over these failures and I really can't take it right now...
