I have a question on replacing the LCD.

I have an ORIGINAL Photon that needs a new LCD. I also have an Epax X1 and two replacement EPAX LCDs on hand.

Is there anything tricky about replacing the Photon's LCD with an Epax.? Is it a straight drop in?

Thanks for any help.

I really like the Photon, but...

My LCD screen finally went, so I watched the videos, searched the group for posts, etc... and STILL managed to break the glass protector trying to get it off. And yes, I heated it before trying. The replacement from AliExpress won't get here until Nov 1.

EVERY LCD is going to have to be replaced. Why in bloody Hell would they put gunky double face tape under the protector that makes it difficult to remove?

Is there any backup method, like using a glass protector for a phone? I can't be without the printer for a month, so I'm about to order an Epax from Amazon. It'll be here tomorrow. I'll fix the Photon and give it to my son.

I guess I should have ordered a glass protector when I ordered the LCD to keep on hand .

The printing gods must be displeased today. Not once, but TWICE I had the same print killed by power outages. Both times when more than 50% done. Grrrr.

3 legged bar stool, 1/160 scale.

Ok, didn't see anything in the docs about this. I'm using standard nail polishing curing device and as pictured, most of my prints are going to be small and numerous. It's not easy to get them all inside, so I'm thinking about putting them on a clear plastic (?) sheet and sliding it in.
Any caveats about what kind of plastic to use? I have loads of clear styrene and such.

Second print, quite pleased. These are pieces of a 1/160 (n scale) gas station interior. I wish I had a better camera. Details are beautiful. Anycubic green, of course, then primed.
