My first prints with Phrozen ABS-like gray. 0.04mm layers, 6/50 then 8.5sec normal layers in a fairly cold garage. Still sorting out scaling these models but they'll make a fine Guard army eventually.

Hello. I have been trying to print the passive filter box and the print failed in two different ways. The first section (on the right) came out just fine, the second one (on the left, same settings) stuck to the bottom of the vat and is distorted. The one in the middle is with adjusted exposure, but also stuck to the film and is similarly shaped, with distorted corners. What can be the cause of this? I am using harzlabs cherry model resin, which is very cool looking! Sorry if this is a basic question, but I would appreciate any clues to what might be going wrong.

Evening all, getting an odd slicer preview using the photon slicer and wondering if will effect the print.

As per the below screen grabs, layer 0 is previewing with some supports starting.

Layer 21 is showing a lot more.

While layer 23 is showing what should be the first layer of the support bases and continues for te next 8 layers as I have specified in the settings.

My previous print before this one ended up with very thick supports bases, easily double if not triple what I put in the settings and may have had the same issue in the preview but I didn't notice.

My question is, will this have a damaging effect on the FEP film and what is causing this to preview as such?

Formlabs have the Preform Software ( freeware) you can have a Quick idea aboit position in sla or dlp if you are new this

Best way to print something like this ? I'd ideally like to get as much onto the build plate as possible, so probably printing vertically, but i'm concerned the supports may not be enough to hold it to the plate mid print, i've tried printing direct on that plate, that worked but added some size distortion and would block some of the holes. Is best option to lift the model 5mm and then put a good amount of support below it ? (the model will be hollowed out).

Also, the resin is too brittle for the clips to work properly, they snap rather than bend like fdm abs would, would monocure flex be an option or should i just swap to using magnets and fix the pegs in.

Tried new batch amerlabs black 3-led. Layer 0.04, 6s exposure. 60s base. Great results. Tried 4s from the sheet and it was a fail - but it is a new hard formula :) quite happy!

Hey guys, thanks for the add. Just got my machine yesterday, currently on my second print (first was a success, second seems to looking good so far).
Now, i saw earlier a video of a flexible resin printed on a formlabs printer, would make a perfect way of making rubber pieces for cosplay gloves. Would a resin meant for a formlabs machine work on the anycubic? If not, are there any flexible resins which will? thanks :)

What's gone wrong? This STL had printed fine several times, but this time is very stepped and distorted. There were several extra bits projecting off the roof of the wagon in very thin layers. When I cleaned up the vat, there was a large rectangular smear of resin cured on, as well as a jelly-like shadow of the supports of the STL.

The previous print just an hour or two before was absolutely fine - but thinking about it, I had noticed some kind of bubbles under the FEP, and gave the bottom of the FEP and top of the screen a gentle wipe with some paper tissue slightly moistened with IPA. I thought it was dry before putting the vat back - but perhaps it wasn't, and the moisture trapped under the FEP caused the problem? (Refraction issues?)

With this much resin cured onto my FEP in such a thin layer, which seems very difficult to get off, is the FEP ruined?

Why do I keep getting this tabs? The last picture shows a short shot. The base is supposed to be 90°.

I wish that I bought More of the Phrozen ABS Like Resin-Matte Gray resin I can't reorder at the moment or least got the 1000 ML bottle. I love the gray so far.
