After searching around on Google for a few days and trying different 3D CAD programs I still haven't found one that will do what I want. All I want is to be able to take a scan of a simple shape like a bell or a cursive letter, scan it, and use some program to Simply raise it off of the ground a half an inch and make it three-dimensional instead of two dimensional so I can print it. I watched a tutorial on how to do that in Fusion 360 but it involves a quite a few steps and tracing out the outline yourself. If I'm doing an entire name that might take a while. That and I'm a complete Noob and have never used Fusion 360. Are there any programs out there that could easily do what I want? I should also note my computer is only running Windows 7 I've heard Windows 3D Builder can do it but I can't get Windows update to let me download it to my Windows 7 PC.

ok got a few questions, main desktop PC is out of commission right now (we think due to me downloading either the anycubic slicer or chitubox off the internet. what slicer is able to run on a integrated graphics chip on a laptop, got an i7 in here.

also in fusion 360 I am trying to bend a symbol onto a shoulder pad for a space marine and then extract it to make an emblem for my plastic and resin pads. how would I do that?

Thanks in advance! :)

Have been making thees lamps in Fusion 360, It is a great program, a little hard to get how to in the start, but I think I did learn a lot.

And I just love my Photon printer

I actually need a hollow function as part of my model design. I tried fusion360, it couldn’t work. What software is the best to hollow out a object and bring it back to modelling software and continue again.

Just finished cleaning up my first 2-tiered print. On first inspection I thought it had failed. The additional platform had some odd delamination issues which made it look like the lower models had fused with it. Turns out they're all perfect!

These are the legs for Frieza's ship. For those of you not familiar with Dragon Ball Z, I've included a picture of the ship.

These were modelled by me in Fusion 360. STL not available ?

Hey Guys and Girls,

As some of you know I've been working on this little project of mine for a while now but we are finally ready to give it a go with our kickstarter launch!!

The entire project was designed using Fusion 360 and prototyped using a mix of the anycubic photon and a creality CR-10, I think it's a perfect example of something to show case a start-up product example.

Would mega appreciate you all to like and share the page / post and link so we can get as much attention as possible!

Wish me luck guys. Also for those of you that are interested in the product itself, if we are successful in raising our needed funds we will be giving away 5 units to some lucky draw winners!

We will officially launch our campaign from the 22.11.19 Fingers crossed!

Thanks for all your support!

Hi - S’me again, asking more questions as I learn. I have designed this in Fusion360( can’t claim credit for the idea but can for the design) - this is so basic it’s unreal- one flat base, two hollowed cylinders and some embossed lettering. However, as you can see the base has not printed correctly- it sort of tapers away towards the ‘front’. I print the correct way up - ie the base first and then the cylinders . This is the third time I have tried this print and I am wondering what I am doing wrong? Is
the fact that the base is so large a problem -
Should I try printing it upside down ie cylinders first, finishing with the base? Should I try supports? Settings for this were Bottom Exp 60, Bottom
Layer count 7 , exposure 10, layer height 0.03mm.

This is the first time I have printed a miniature without the base on it. I cadd'ed up a basic base in Fusion 360 and plan to print it in PLA. Whats the best way to attach a model like this to a basic round base? Should I just CA it to the base or should I try to pin the feet?

Thanks.
