Lead screw squeak. I have used lithium grease on my leadscrew (I also use it for my cnc) but on the photon the squeak seems to return after 2 or 3 prints, I think resin fumes affect it? Anyhow, on last service of the photon I happened to also be lubing my bike chain, which uses a much higher performance lube to stop it flying off the chain, so gave the photon screw a squirt. 8 prints in its has not squeaked yet.. YMMV

Here is an article if you scroll through it you’ll find the effect of what’s known as backlash what can cause it and yes it can affect your prints backlash can be caused between the threaded rod and threads on the build plate the quality of the stepper moter and the driver to name only three as with cnc mills the better the build and parts the more it cost if you don’t get a good one you soon regret it just a few things to think about if you can’t figure out any other reason for print problems maybe it a ‘ mechanical ‘ issue? i come from a cnc milling background and have dealt with the same issues before!

Got my garage arranged, moved everything out there, the photon just fitted in the corner, made some space to get the phrozen up next to my pc instead. Throwing in extra pic of a piece I CNC cut directly from metal last night, super clean.

Can someone please help me I don't know where I'm going wrong this was with 50% auto support (plus a few the slicer missed). It looks good until you realise the part is warped all over the place (only 1 straight side out of 4) which is no good as that's just one part a kit of parts.
Its not hollow (i need to vacuum cast the parts), I did the exposure test and put my settings to that, i did the ameralabs town test and fine tuned to as close as accuracy as possible, sanded my build plate now every thing stick like crazy.
Close to cutting my losses and going back to my CNC mill but that means rewinding 4months to re jig for cnc'ing :'(

Hello Guys.
Now i have new windows for the Anycubic Photon. They are avaiable in 2 colours: cherry red and orange.
Both colours are blocking UV Light and help to prevent that the resin in the printer is harden by sunlight.
The windows are CNC cutted and fit perfect for the Anycubic Photon. If you have speziell wishes like a engraving or something you can write me that.
Price 29,99€ + free shipping to Germany
I can also send the windows to other countries in Europe. Then you have to pay the shipping costs.
Write me a PM if you are interested.
Note: I have a business and you get an invoice.

Good Morning photonic world, here in Florence we have a problem, hlp huge appreciated. My baby was working well with standard resin and FEP , than (but maybe a coincidence) I started to use nintendo switch thinner screeen protector, installed new FEP (anycubic), and Grey Resin (can't find setting for this color, I love grey and the standard green I drinked so fast). Now mostly I have back side of the plate flat and ok sticking and front with multilayers separating... ok probably pictures will speak better... who's guilty ? TNX in advance

Like many of you, I’m also looking for some spare vats. Since Anycubic seams to be pretty busy suppling us all with Photons, I decided to design a spare vat. Having access to a CNC machine during the night, I would be willing to make some for interested “Photoneers.” The only downside is the cost. I calculated the Metal alone to cost $45; all together with screws, anodizing & CNC it will end up at around $80. Im not in it to get rich so I would offer them for $90. This number could come down if I get enough people committed in purchasing one. So please let me know if you are interested. Please PM me. The vat will come with a top lid held via magnets in place for storage outside of the printer.
