Wow
Just reflected on my first month 3D printing...

I’ve worked out that I’ve made
6 monsters (mostly artisan stuff- a giant and. Ogre, a spider, a flying saurus, a large kroxigor sc and a scrap heap golem...!!)
200 infantry (100 halflings, 90 hobgoblins, 15 skaven)
25 cavalry (hobgoblin wolf Rider and halfling pony cavalry)
And lots of small scenery- campfires/mining equipment in my first month
And used exactly 3 bottles £40 resin

This is utterly bonkers....
Changed one FEP and used A LOT of gloves...

I do not know what happened but all of a sudden I cannot get a successful print. Was working fine but then it started failing right in the middle of the build plate and sticking to the fep. I have changed the fep, tried different prints to see if the print was the problem, and releveled but still having the exact same issues. Any ideas what it could be?

Who uses flexible resin? I just got some Monocure Flex 100, and I remember reading a post a while ago about mixing it with regular resin... what ratio do you recommend for printing minis? Test print success, on first try even. I added a bottle of resin to my Photon order and apparently they ship a random one? Because I didn't get to choose it. Interestingly, they ended up sending me a bottle of the ECO yellow. I was expecting to hate the color but it actually looks really good.

Printing a Hero Forge Mini... For a friend. I'm sorta newish to the Photon, having a few successful printed minis under my belt. I've watched many great instructional videos on settings and support placements... BUT my buddy provided me with a hero forge STL that has the base and wizard robes so close that I'm not 100% sure how to support them without making a mess...

Any pro tips? With one of my examples, I made supports on the bottom of the base, then edited them to extend through the base to the bottom of the cloak.. it's hard to see exactly what I was doing... Any help (ideas) would be greatly appreciated.

If my printer is in a colder room... say... in the garage and about 40-45 degrees F.... should I modify the exposure time?

Hey all, new to the group and new to my photon s. I think I've been having exposure issues, where I'm just not getting the detail I think I should be getting on my prints. I tried using the exposure finder on github, but when I try to run the g-code from my usb drive, it isn't showing any of the test files, only the files I've sliced with the photon slicer. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I work in a UK Government Accredited Test Laboratory, we qualify things for specific scenarios in the Aerospace/Defence industry. We are considering using 3D printed resin mounts for instrumentation or rather experimenting with them instead of aluminium CNC'd blocks. I'm hoping to get the go ahead to test a range of resins (printed at a range of controlled temperatures, cured at a range of temperatures, some under water) for durability, tensile strength, hardness and so on. The tests will be in the form of long thin coupons as well as the accelerometer blocks that we will be using. So I'm looking for the top 5 resins people here (mostly miniature modellers) would like to see tested. My number one go to resin is Sirayatech Tough Blu, I may add Fast and Sculpt in there, I will try Ameralabs, I hope to try Hero Resin and Monocure Rapid grey. Printing and curing is going to take the most time here the lab tests won't take long at all to see how much force they can take before breakage. So as long as I can get the resin (and clean the vat between each one etc) I am sure I can add some extra coupons into the testing no problem. Hit me up with your resins and could a Moderator make this a poll please - Which resin would you most like tested? (They will be printed on an EPAX X1 ? )

Okay, I need to make some repair parts with a shore hardness of around 92A. The original parts were made from "hard rubber" but have aged and lost all flexibility.
It does _not_ need to be exact. Just soft enough to dent and rebound with a very firmly applied fingernail.
I am planning on mixing Flex100 with Anycubic Black which it seems people have done with success even though Monocure says to mix only with Monocure resins.
Anyway, I was curious if anyone knew of a good starting point for my mixture.
