It's been a whole week and I finally got some prints to come out. If it wasn't one thing it was another. I could identify what the problem was each time, but I used up my whole 500ml bottle of green with nothing but coral, pancakes, and half suspended blobs. I'm a modeler/painter first and a maker second so I'm really hyped about expanding my repertoire.

Really struggling to get prints off the plate at the mo. Could it be down to bottom layer exposure. I'm using anycubic grey 100s?

My usual printing Resin is Elegoo grey with 10-15% Monocure Flex100 added to it. But Anycubic was kind enough to send me a liter of their Grey resin for giving a review of the Photon on Amazon. Is Anycubic Grey as brittle as Elegoo, and if so does it do well with having Flex100 added to it to made it less brittle? This is for printing miniatures.

Hi all! first of all, thanks for accept me in this group.

I have 3 anycubic photon, all works well, except one that it's lcd screen starts to make strange things. I replaced it with an elegoo lcd and the elegoo lcd stays purple, not black or totally open, purple, like if it's black part has an opacity of 40%. The same happens with an Anycubic lcd screen.

I put the previous lcd screen, the bad one, and it shows hardly the calibrating rectangle, but it tries to draw the rectangle, the others didn't.

What can I do to fix it?

Just got my Photon up and running. My test print cube came out perfect. Everything else after...not so much.

I’m trying to print miniatures. I really have no idea what I’m doing. Every print comes out with no details. I have an Ender 3 filament printer that gives much better detail.

I’m using Anycubic Eco Yellow resin, and chitubox for the slicer. I’ve been copying other people’s settings I find by googling, but I can’t really find a good place to start.

I’m willing to do some trial and error, but I’d really like a good starting place. If any of you would be so kind to just explain what slicer you use, with what settings, and why you do so, then I feel like I could at least have a good place to start from.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes time out of their day to help a noob out. ?

Hi, similar to STL files on Windows Explorer preview pane tweak - is there also for .cbddlp or .chitubox files?

Basically I already have like hundreds of these files and I wanted preview them easily without needing to open them inside ChituBox, does anyone know anything similar? :)

Soooo...I changed my fep yesterday and releveled(stupid idea).
Now I can't get it to perform as before.
No "plop" sound anymore and light supports break away all the time.
Releveled several times using both methods.
Upped the timings and slowed the plate.
Also I opened a new bottle of anycubic grey and am using chitubox 1.6.2.

The fep was tuned to 350 as far as I can tell. The free android apps all kinda suck if you just want to check the frequency.

No idea what to do next aside from releveling and testing again.

Any ideas?
