Why would a few prints recently be successful, but have a vertical line running through the part, from the plate to the top. one side of the line, the entire model is shifted "forward" by a fraction of a mm. nothing failed. Supports all fine, no sags. The next print, large plates full of battletech mech parts, no issues. It looks like the model itself was planecut, offset .5mm and re-assembled. I will post photos as necessary. Twice in the past half dozen prints, I have had this issue. It has been minor enough that I can correct it with some filing/sandpaper.

Are there any well-written instructions on the exposure test print? I've read some a few times and it was written by someone who doesn't write documentation for a living. I have always sorta "winged it" with my exposures and I've been happy with the results but that nagging feeling where "could it be better?"

This cube was a test for my FDM printer which I scaled down to exactly 1cm sides.

Stuck directly to plate as I don't care about elephant foot.

Z dimension is exactly 1cm, X and Y are 1.03cm. I know prints off the photon (S) are not supposed to be 100% dimensionally exact because resin can expand and/or contract, yet is there a way to make the object more reliably dimensioned without scaling XY to 97%? (if it's even proportional and constant depending on the object size)

I could try lowering the exposure time to see if it was because of the bleeding, yet for now getting your input is faster than another 2hrs print at 0.02mm layer height ;)

Gree resin, 0.020mm, I need to create some small rings with many details, which config should I use? It seems 2 exposure is the answer, I don't know If I am doing this right tho.

Print it flat, they said. It will be *fine* they said.

It's stuck rock-solid to the build plate and has a hollow, liquid resin-filled cavity (picture an oversized plastic soda bottle cap with very thick walls). How do I get it off the plate without damaging it or the plate? I already tried hot water, and my metal scraper isn't doing the trick. I'd rather not have to hammer it off.

Yes, next time I'll use supports.

Update: the hammer method worked! See https://www.facebook.com/groups/AnycubicPhoton/permalink/1914607095350590/

Drain hole question: I'm printing a large mini at 45 degrees with a solid base. Do I put my drain holes at the edge of the base, since it'll print upside down? Does it matter which side of the base? Also, I do my supports in Prusa and then bring into Chitubox to hollow. Seems like I have to add supports, export with them, then hollow in Chitubox afterwards. Will hollowing in Chitubox after adding supports in Prusa cause issues? (Does it hollow the supports?) 翻譯年糕

Hey guys, so good and bad news. Bad news is im in dire need of some money due to a fire that burned me out of my home, and everyone is fine and safe. BUT Good news Im selling a bunch of my 3D printing stuff. Ive got a Anycubic photon with a 2-3 bottles of resin and cleaning material. And few parts and tools as well as a black light i use to cure and a ultrasonic cleaner. And i think more too but im trying to remember what is all there without actually seeing it. Its currently in my storage, and dont have it right in front of me.

Ive also got a Rostock Max V3 with a bunch of add on's (e3d hotend, 0.8 stepper motors, bmg extruder, some 20 nozzles varying from sizes groups of like 2-3) and lots of parts (wire, tubing, glass bed, arms, hot end, sensors, stepper motors, a magnetic removeable heating bed and more) and few open and unopened spools. And i believe more, but Im trying to remember what it all has, it has been in storage for a few months

So after you've read this whole book of information, im wanting to sell everything for $1700, negotiable. I live in the Seattle Washington area if anyone is interested. please dont hesitate to message me questions. I will get pictures hopefully in the next day, but please if your interested just message me and we can chat. Thanks! Enjoy printing :D

so... had this happen a couple of times
same file, same resin, different results (some minis not printing in one batch but coming out great in the next, or viceversa, or starting waist up)
pics of last batch, paused midway because of failure

any idea what could have gone wrong?

Here’s the issue with the Photon this go around. I was wondering why peony’s have been failing lately. I would get uncured sludge in the vat when a print is done as well as layers stuck to the FEP. Does anyone know what the name of this issue is? Please excuse the loud fan, I have a heater in my print room next to the Photon. **Please watch the videos until each ends**
