Well, got my S after the light array on my original died, and so far I waaaay overexposed my calibration prints. I'm guessing on the S I should be reducing exposure times rather than extending?

Hmm I need some stats, documented that is. Hope you can help.

What are the minimum exposure time the Anycubic Photon S can manage?

Can the ACP "S" go under 6.5 "offtime"?

EDIT: Only documented answers with sources please ;)

I've been trying to print some larger objects which take up most of the build plate, and I keep getting layer separation in the raft. Has anyone found a fix for this?

So if I am doing a really small part in grey resin at 0.02 layer and me exposure was 8 for a 0.05 layer in general how much might I want to reduce exposure by? Maybe a second or two? It prints ok at 8 sec.

Kind of an open ended question but just looking for in-general opinions.

Two beginner questions:

1. It seems that the buildplate in Chitubox is not aligned with the UV LCD since it cut of the back of my model, any one else experince that? (No red areas in the software).

2. Why do the down side with the support looks like it is melted? I have tilted the model in a angle that it should be able to print. I did print in Anycubic gray with 7s exposure on my Photon S.

Used prusa slicer for supports and photon workshop for slice. I didn’t use automatic orientation on prusaSlicer.

Siraya Tech Fast Grey resin works pretty well. Before curing, it's a little more rubbery feeling than other resins I've used. And, I may have gone a tad bit overboard on the supports. But it was worth it cause everything turned out so well. The only issue I have is that through heroforge, you can have customers text on the bottom of the model, and I can never get that to print correctly. Everything else prints perfectly. I also accidentally broke his tail off while trimming the supports.

So... Can anyone explain to me why variable layer height (an awesome feature to get better prints in less time pioneered by Prusa in its slicer) isn't a thing with (M)SLA printing & slicers? I do realize exposure times need to go up the thicker the layers are, but what would be the problem of defining a factor for every resin that lengthens exposure time in tandem with layer height? I thought maybe the reason nobody does this is that longer exposure means that there's an xy "expansion" around the edges that would result in an uneven print over the z height... What are your thoughts on this?
