*another edit* Reformatted the USB, this time I started tidying the craft room watching it..it just kept printing..so I decided to leave, and hit the light switch as I walked out and it stopped printing and I felt like the biggest idiot.... we moved it to the craft room and we were ruining all our prints by walking out the door and basically shutting off the power..will it cause any problems to shut the power off when we are not using it? Does it need to be reset or anything?

much like everyone else, the first 3 prints were great, and now it's not working anymore. I guess onto the laundry list of what could be wrong... :)

Ok, so idiot move today. I got a hole in my FEp so I had to change it. So I did, no big deal. I also switched from green to grey resin. First 3 prints fail to stick to the platform. I tighten the FEP, I re level the build plate. Guess what I forgot to do...... Thats right, forgot to change the settings in the slicer for the different resin. DUH!!!!

Thinking about finally venturing away from Anycubic Green to an opaque resin. I mostly print miniatures at 6mm-8mm scale, or 28mm scale. Anecdote seems to show that Monocure Rapid Grey or Gunmetal Grey would be the preferred resin, but I'm open to suggestions.

Also, I'm curious about the differences between opaque and translucent resins in terms of final product. My gut feeling would tell me that an opaque resin would have better detail on the build plate end, since translucent resins would let additional light seep through the model itself, curing those plate layers more over time, but I could also be a total idiot for thinking that.

Hi team, what is the beat resin to print 28mm minis with. Eg the most forgiving idiot proof colour. Something transparent? The final color matters not. I had some good results with the transparent green it came with. But the the Aqua blue is giving me trouble.

Another silly simple question that's not covered in the instructions: how do I remove the build plate from the printer after a print?
I've a lovely cube model printed (looks good upside down anyway) but loosening the big red knob doesn't let me slide the plate off. Do I have to undo the allen bolt used to level the plate to get it out, or should I try to pop the print off while it's still in the machine? What am I missing?
Feel a bit of an idiot having to ask!

Hi all. I leveled the using the Reed method and my print came out, however some supports in the middle of the object didn't render full length and one corner of the box cured up (almost like on an FDM printer where the head was too high off the plate). I did notice some diviots in the fep as I was cleaning it out, but I'm not sure if the model was orientatint over them or not. Could that have the cause of my issue, or would it be something else?
I wasn't able to grab a picture as my phone wasn't on me and i was rushing for work.

Am I the only one who read the label (#4) and instantly wondered if there were idiots doing a "resin challenge"?
