Hey all, just been printing some minis on my photon s. I feel the details on my prints arent quite as sharp as I've seen from some of you guys so I printed something from artisans guild. Same result. Don't get me wrong, the details is still great but I was wondering if anyone had some tips for even more detail?

I haven't printed with the AP for four months due to having a baby. I saw some stuff about anti aliasing firmware updates but didn't get details. I want to setup to print tomorrow using some new Elegoo Grey. Tips or links for setting up latest firmware would be really appreciated. I don't think i've ever updated the firmware on this machine.

Just subscribed to the Artisan Guild patreon. I noticed alot of models are in multiple pieces or at least with seperate bases. Is there an accepted best method for attaching models to bases? To you use resin and curing or some other method such as gluing or pinning?

I've been halfheartedly fighting with my Photon for a couple of weeks now over some adhesion issues. Haven't had much to say about it really, just been sitting back and reading all the posts here for guidance while I troubleshot.

So I'm laughing at myself a bit now as I share today's Novice Pro Tip: When a series of troubleshooting steps are suggested, check *everything*, even if you think a particular thing might not be applicable to you.

I just found two set screws run down into the build plate hole, and I never once looked before because it didn't *feel* like there were two. But there were two. Just like several people have suggested should be looked for. That I never looked for. Because it didn't feel like... anyway... ? ? ? ? ?

Gonna run a print job and see how things go. I bet the plate stays tight and level now. *sigh* LOL :D

Question on supports. I'm placing supports for 15-18mm scale human model. and there is an extremely tiny island at the back of the neck where the hair hangs down. The hair is short crop and it is the tip of one strand on a 15mm model to give you an idea how small were talking. Chitu wont let me place a support. The question is do I need to support it, and if yes how do I generate a support there?
