Hi guys!

Could anyone recommend me a resin and/or mix to create multiple miniatures for a boardgame, for example Risk troops. I need one that will be played with and is durable, I am trying to make like a thousand or more pieces.

Thank you in advance!

Any dental professionals out there used the Nextdent denture resins on the photon? Have any setting recommendations?
The photon spreadsheet only has one entry for Nextdent but doesn’t specify which resin. I also haven’t been able to get a calibration test to show any detail, comes out as just a blank sheet.
Any tips welcome ?
Thanks!

Hey gang, hope everyone is having a better weekend than me :) I'm sure others have encountered this problem so I wanted to ask, have you ever had where your prints don't stick to the plate? my last several prints have come off the plate and then i just end up with a mess in my resin pool. Some of the models printed flawlessly the first weeks I had it, but now they seem to keep coming off...... any tips? Thanks in advance :)

(Pic of a kit I modeled / printed for attention.)

Hey everyone. My Photon started to squeak fairly loudly when moving at a particular height, so I cleaned the lead screw (it had a covering of very fine very dark black grease / residue) and lubed it with white lithium grease as suggested by many in this group.

However when I moved the build plate down to the home position, it simply sheared all the grease off and left it looking the same before, but now it squeaks more! Any tips?

I had some minor z-wobble issues that developed before this and was hoping it might be related to the squeak.

Pic is of an extension kit for GW Space Marine Dreadnoughts I've made using my photon...

Thanks for any help!

First time owner and have been learning from you guys about using the printer while waiting the Photon shipping to my house. This is my very first print here, a Singer 911 plenum, very amazing details and easy to work with. My ender 3 wouldn't be able to do this print. This is just amazing and want to thanks you guys sharing your printing experience hourly, and I have learned a lot. Love this printer. Only one thing I messed up was the mess I made while pouring resin and cleaning ? ? any tips on cleaning the fep after using?

Tried printing multiple small parts on the platform. 3 out of 4 of one model turned out and 1 of 2 of the other model turned out. No remnants of the other models on the build plate. Do I need to re level/reslice or is it luck of the draw?

Dear friends, my trouble: The printer prints the first 4 layers perfectly and then it stops moving in the Z axes, it keeps proyecting the layers but no further Z movements.. The bed is not glue to the fep, I can lift the bed with the display commands.. It was perfect before, is it broken beyond repair? Thanks for your tips!!

I'm having real trouble printing with anycubic clear. I've had 5 failed prints in a row where the object doesnt stick to the supports and just sticks to the FEP.
The base layers print fine, there is good bed adhesion, the supports print fine, its just the dice that doesnt stick to the supports.
With these settings and orientation the first print came out fine, then started failing.

I have tried exposure time of 10s, which caused a lot of yellowing, i have tried lower contact depth (which was working for anycubic green) and different contact shape, i have tried printing them tip down and closer to the plate (which caused the tip to have a buildup of resin that turned it into a blob).
Should i just print it face down straight on the plate (would this not cause more yellowing on the base) ? I need all the faces to look as perfect as possible, so i was trying not to add a larger contact surface, but am open to suggestions.
Thank you!

Just got my photon a few days ago. I do a lot of 25-28 mm scale mini printing and painting. I've had a few failed prints but overall things have been going fairly well.

As I'm thinking about ways to minimize failed prints when printing a few miniatures at the same time, is there an optimal layout? Is it better to cluster miniatures together or to space them further apart? Should I keep the models centered on the plate?

Got any tips?

So first print failed as it didn't adhere to the baseplate (releveled and zeroed it) this time out it looks like it was doing great, but seems to have a few issues. Any tips?
