Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » TIP

Hey guys, I'm playing with Anycubic Transparent Yellow resin. My supports are sticking like painfully well. Any tips of support interface settings (contact depth, shape, radius etc) that should help?

Also I've been thinking of adding about 15% monocure flex to the mix with anycubic trans yellow. Was wondering what regular layer cure times you'd suggest?

Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Question... I seem to be having more issues with Anycubic Grey resin then I did with the green resin that I received with my printer. I have carefully leveled multiple times and changed my exposure times but the prints will still not stick to the plate. I have also cleaned the plate and the ball. Would I just be better off with returning to green resin? Does this make a difference?

Question for the experts. Trying to convince the wife to let me get the Photon. What were worried about is environmental temperature and ventilation. I live in Missouri, so what do I need to keep the ambient temperature of the room at for optimal printing? Also, how do you guys ventilate the printer of resin fumes? I've seen like an adapter you can 3d print to attach a hose to? Also I've heard about carbon filters but I'm still alittle ignorant on those. Any advice, tips, help are appreciated. Feel free to spam me with links too, I really want to get my research down. Thanks in advance! Also any advice in slicing software, placing supports, leveling, or basically anything else in your wisdom is helpful.

Asking for some assistance with a new Resin.

because of a lot of recommendations on this forum, I ordered some Siraya Blue Resin that should arrive today. Don't get me wrong, the Ancycubic green was working fine, but I had multiple people say that the Siraya was a little stronger and less prone to breaking.

I am still using the STOCK Photon Slicer.

Can I use the Same settings as Anycubic Green? or if not, does anyone have some recommended settings for Siraya Blue Resin?

I print D&D miniatures, if that makes a difference.

On the left is the grub screw that came with my printer and on the right is the replacement i bought. Due to the cone tip on the replacement, now when i tighten it in, theres no way the plate can become unlevel since it sits flush in the cup that pushes the ball joint down! ?

Recently picked up my Photon and have had some success but more often than not, I end up with nothing but supports on the bed. I have changed the support settings to be heavy and added way more than needed. These prints are simple as well. So I have tried multiple orientations. I am also following the print settings for my resin that is posted on the Github page. The only thing that is tied to this recent change is when I plug my formatted flash drive in, I get the M_10000 (I believe) error where it asks you to unplug/plug the flash drive. I get it every time I go to print. Majority of this is operator error so I am looking for some advice on supports, print orientation, and maybe the error. Thank you, I appreciate your time.

So after the exposure test yesterday, I left the resin overnight and tried to print this (have failed multiples times). Change the exposure time but still failed....

Hey everyone,
So I need some help wrapping my head around something in regards to scaling. My goal is to design a mech mini that is set in the 12mm scale. To add to the confusion I will be using feet as a measurement then converting it to mm (Yes, I’m from the U.S.)

Scale: 12mm
Average human in-game: 6’ or 12mm
Mech height: 24’ or 48mm (4 times the height of the human used for scale)

Is this correct to be a "true" 12mm scale, or am I totally missing something? I have been attempting to do research to grasp how other games determine the height of their minis. I could only conclude that first you need a standard to measure everything else by. In this case I was basing everything off the average human height would be 12mm and then multiplied from there.

Thanks in advance!
