Anyone here have recommendations for a good clear resin? I need one that doesn't yellow, if such a product exists. Is there anything I can do in cleanup / curing to help ensure the part stays as clear as possible?
I did a test print of the Anycubic clear this week and the parts were extremely clouded after I cleaned them in IPA.
Thanks in advance for any tips!

So this is a first... like literally searched the group and didnt see any models this bad With layer skipping or “z-hopping”.. woke up to this today. Measures I’ve taken: Emptied and cleaned the vat and screen no cracks FEP seemed good. Releveled the bed and lubed the Z-rod, resliced the file (using chitubox again) changing orientation and positions. Possible problems I did notice the bed sticks to the FEP sheet (a little more then it did new) and Ive had a similar problem it was using multiple shape and size objects on the bed so i think it could relate? Either way its almost done after my attempts to correct if not ill try the tension of the FEP to see if its loose and try to reslice with all of the same model on the bed with a new USB to see if that is a conflict. If not tho i would like some input from some of you OG’s who may have seen this. Thanks!

Tip of the day. BEFORE removing your print from the print bed, take several sheets off your kitchen roll. It is easier without resin covered gloves.

Hey guys, I was gonna order my printer soon and I found an ebay shop that apparently is owned by anycubic? However, there are a few shops that imo stole the name and a second official shop that appears to cater to the US market whereas the one linked below is for EU (the same printer is put up multiple times with the same descriptions in different languages). Update: I also just found a German shop where the printer costs 400....

The printer goes for like 370 bucks there, and according to what I heard from others this is around the price the printer goes for when on sale on amazon or similar.

Question:
Can anyone confirm that purchasing my anycubic from the ebay shop is safe and that I will get the original product? The seller reviews are 99% positive and the negative ones only complained about deliveries and such.

https://www.ebay.at/str/anycubic

Thanks a lot!

When printing multiple items, is it best to have the support bases touching to make a "solid sheet" or leave alittle space in between all models so they are not touching?

Okay let me introduce you to lab one, this was my first attempt at printing your little workshop Skylab in one 96 scale. This was printed on the anet A8 printer with a 0.4 millimeter tip in pla. I had only had a month of printing under my belt and had been experimenting with using my own 3D models. Now here I am a few years later and I have since printed in resin which is represented by the silver Apollo command and service module. As many of you know this project has been a cross between a hobby and an obsession of mine. Soon it will be a finished project but to look back at the rough work with the handmade wire bent for the trust work in comparison to the fine print of the resin this is a testimony to giving something a few hundred tries before you give up!

Thinking about getting an Anycubic Photon-S. Any tips, warnings suggestions would be great. Anyone who owns one I would also like to hear about your experience with this printer. 翻譯年糕

Would anyone mind if i set up a group/sub group specifically for Photon owning zbrush modellers? Would quite like it to be affiliated with this group if possible, whats the best way of going about this (obviously i know how to set up a fb group)?
Vinicius Silva , Sen Kun would this be ok? By the look of it we have a fair few people interested in the group which have an interest in modelling for the photon so could be a nice thing to have to discuss tips and tricks etc...

Please feel free to delete this post if it breaks any rules etc.

Pro tip: I have been requesting that ChiTuBox get resin profiles, and they probably will in their paid version, but Leonardo Delgado pointed out to me that we can fake them now by creating a new printer profile for each resin and then just rename it to the resin name. Great idea.

Still, I need horizontal size compensation before I can use it for most things that I do. A Netfabb-like auto-orientation would also rock.
