Has anyone experienced a random band start to appear after some printing? Ive printed close to 3L on the photon s and recently I am seeing a band on my models every 25mm or so. Once I lightly sand and prime the models you cant see it but they never use to be there before. Any ideas?

Sadly, I dont have any prints that arent painted but I can share a picture the next time I print something

Looking for tips please. My Photon is printing the raft fine, but that's all it prints, it fails to print the rest of the supports & model. Any ideas folks? Thanks in advance!

HELP REQUESTED.

this morning, the motor started making a thin grinding sound when peeling. when lifting, it's normal. also my fan is just idling instead of running at full speed when printing.

i have left a vat full of anycubic skin inside the printer for 3 days. printer covered up, no sunlight.

could vapours stick to the things? or should i prepare to buy a new motor? don't care about the fan. or is it a power issue?

other than that, there's no spillage, fep is good, the usb doesn't seem to have issues, temperature is optimal, etc.

had a failed print where the printer just stopped mid print. it raised the buildplate for a while, then back down to print level and stopped. file was sliced in chitu and validated with validator.

trying another file now.

free stl for who helps me out.

Oh man, the trifecta of errors here tonight ha haaaa. I had a couple of dead spots on my LCD, so while I waited for my new one to show up I decided I would try printing around dead spots. The LCD failed in even more places, which in turn created a misprint, and then went on to put a hole in my FEP. What's your best printing horror story?

Have had a couple failed prints lately due to lifted/curling edges. Did a thorough cleaning/releveling/general systems check, and got this one to print alright, but as you can see the front facing side is still peeling, and the back side raft layer seems far thinner in comparison.

Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong or could try for better results?

Photon. Anycubic elegoo grey resin. Layer height 0.5. Bottom layers 8 with 60 second exposure. Regular layers 9 seconds.

Hi Photonsters
Got a question I am in the UK wondered if anyone have used anything a bit friendlier to clean your resin prints, saw a video on using simply green and mean green but these are all U.S. products not made here in the UK anyone tried anything else.
The end allow is to use the soy based bio resins and a good friendlier cleaner would be great.
Any ideas??? :)

Im printing a terrain item that is pretty big and low detail (2700 layers). Ideally id print not on the photon. But its my only printer. Its predicted to be 13 hours and use 250ml of resin hollowed and supported.

This is my second hollowed print and by far my biggest. Would it be possible to have someone check over my supports/hollowing or give me some pointers? Additionally can I do larger layers than .05 to speed it up? Or is that about the biggest I can go and keep this massive print together?

If not allowed I understand. But im hesitant to print 1/4 of a bottle in one go if I didnt do this correctly.

For reference its the half circle piece on the left in this file rotated 90 degrees vertically to fit the print bed.

So just got another photon and the software is completely different than the one I got a year ago. None of my old files will work and if i use chitubox it will not show up as a file anymore. Any ideas?
