Hi. I would like to install the Photon Validator but am not sure which of these files is the right one. Could anybody give me a hand please? My computer runs on Windows 10. The screen shot below came from the Github Photonsters page.

Well the day finally arrived. My resin got delivered and i could start printing. I went brave and didnt even try printing the test cube out, i went for my own design from fusion. glad i did now, it turned out great, just as i wanted it too. This printer is pretty cool to say the least. More printing will commence tomorrow morning. Settings used for the green from the github file settings

Hi all!
Is there a way to write something into the photon print file to pause at a certain height (for a colour change)?

I had a search but couldn't find a relevant threads here or on the GitHub (but I'm on mobile so please forgive me if I missed something).

Hi there. I have run into an issue with my photon resin printer. The motor, fan, and uv screen are not working when i turn on the printer. I can still access the menu but other than that I am unable to make any changes. I heard someone had a similar issue here. But I cannot download those files from Github. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to try the photon resin calibration code on github. I'm a little hesitant because the resin-xp-finder folder is listed as "deprecated". Is this no longer valid or am i not reading github right?

I knew it was too good to be true, every print worked fine up to now, I think I’ve been luckier than some.

Does anyone know what would cause the FEP sheet to crease and deform like this? The top of the model (printed flat to the bed) has the same profile in it. Is the adhesion to the FEP too much? I’m using a Photon S with Wanhao Grey resin and settings from the Photonsters github document.

Fortunately for me the sheet didn’t rupture and leak resin onto the LCD.

Any advice appreciated, looks like I’ll be replacing the FEP sooner than expected. Has anyone used the Monocure FEP sheets on their photons? Monocure are a 20 minute drive from where I live so easy to get hold of.

Hi all- I keep getting the lcd error code: T88. So following online help I've downloaded the 'Firmware 4.2.18 from Anycubic' on the github website. I've copied these files onto the USB stick- but still getting the same issue- any help appreciated.

I would be grateful for some help please. I am unsure how to disable the deck filter fan in my Photon Classic using GCode. I think, from what I have read here, that I should use M8030 T0 followed by M8500 , but how, like this?
Select this as a file to 'print' from a USB stick? Filename: Fanoff.nc (Photon Classic Turn Deck filter fan off) M8030 T0 M8500 (Saves configuration)
Two things I am unclear about though.... The configuration code from Photonsters says T-0 not T0 The photonsters code lists M8030 for the LED fan and Motherboard fan,(which I suppose is the one I think of as the deck filter fan) so it seems this short code is ambigious?

WARNING:

Do NOT use the .Gcode to make your fan run continous with the latest .19 update to get around the weird fan behavior bug! ( Amy Liao , would love to finally get an update on that).

What i expect is that the photon power supply can not handle the power use when using AA within .19, thats why the fan drops in the .19 update. If you make the fan run continous it starts moving the problem to the screen and you can see an overload protection kick in every few seconds. I have ran 2 Photons like this for months, 24/7, so it wont ruin anything and you will keep printing, but it cant improve the life of your machinery.

Instead, downgrade the Photon to the .18 update that is on the GitHub, people have said that it runs fine with the fan dipping, also my screen dipping is now gone. Dont forget to flush the firmware after downgrading to the .18 file.
