I made this video for all of my friends on model building pages who don't have access to 3D printers.
Simply put it's nothing but a stack of images flashed on a cell phone screen underneath the clear vat out of resin that starts out attaching a foot to a metal plate that moves up and down in what's known as the z axis hundreds or thousands of times until the sliced model is built.

I put my face on my switch dock and printed it in resin, replacing the last 3d printed thing I owned that I didn't print myself, an FDM 3d printed dock shell.

Came out pretty nice! Gonna need to look into some of these ABS-like resins though, as one of the screw holes blew out. Anyone find any that aren't 60 bucks per litre?

The micro-croc, about which I recently wrote and showed photos immediately after printing, is finally done. It is printed with a 20-micron layer height on one of my favorite photopolymers - Model Cherry from # HarzLabs .

Croc has very rich detail and grooves for the back cover, as well as mounting for magnets in the cover. They printed well and fit well. The crystals on its back glow from the battery located in the lid. The inner part of the box is covered with soft velvet to keep the things brought to Croc as careful as possible.

Thanks to this, jewelry-box is very convenient and harmonious.

Do you guys run a series of experiment before you dive in to 3D print your best models? How else can you improve resin print quality?

I am thinking of making a full suite of modular dungeon tiles for DnD using existing campaign books as a template, for anyone who is interested, which would you like to see as a 3D setup (the files will work in generic settings, I just want to model them after 1 core theme each)

Just changed my fep film. First print amazing. Second and third had prints In the middle failing. I've re tightened my fep. And I'm now testing again.

Hi guys!
I'm new to 3D printing and currently considering buying an original Photon. However, I've seen some posts/articles comparing it to the Photon S and can't seem to wrap my mind around which one to buy.
I can currently get the Photon for about $245 and the Photon S for $345. Is the S worth the $100?

Anyways, I'm sure this question must pop up a lot so...thanks for your patience and sage advice!
