Another success for the Little Photon. I sculpted this mini for an upcoming Dungeon Crawler on kickstarter and came out perfect at 50um with anycubic grey...I used 10 sec exposure time for a full plate print. For miniatures I really don't feel the need of an upgraded printer!! Enjoy!

When i want to make support for some object. It start to not responding.

Musk Ox APC from the Antenocitis Workshop stl kickstarter. 28mm figure for scale. Printed with Sparkmaker LCD-T clear (primed white in photos), 0.04mm layers at 12 sec per normal layer. The hull and tracks took over 16 hours each. The hull had a slight shift to one side about 1/5 of the way through the print but it's barely noticeable. The rear of the model has some goopy details as seems typical of clear resin towards the build plate, but it's better than Photocentric3D Firm. I think this model will make a good Razorback after I compress the length a bit.

Has anyone played around with Slic3r Prusa Edition. In their new Alpha you can slice for their upcoming SL1. Looks really nice, this is a slicer that would be awesome to be able to use with the photon.
Sure you can use it for supports and export the stl but I like the way slic3r have material profiles and stuff like that. There are corrections for size and material shrinkage and lots of fun stuff.
And its open source so maybe someone alot smarter then me can make something with it.

okay so had to reboot my pc now chitubox has lost all my settings. i had setting saved for 20,25,30 and 50 microns for 7 different resins.... all gone weeks of experimenting gone. does anyone know why i lost all of this? i cant leave chitubox open all the time.

I ordered a Wanhao Duplicator 8 today. 3 times the build area, 3.5 times the build volume and a touchscreen I can read without magnification. I'll post my thoughts about how it compares to the Photon when I get it. The biggest downside to the D8 is the user group is really really small. I thought about ordering the upcoming Phrozen Transform, but I really don't want to wait months and months to get something I've paid for. The Shuffle XL has slightly larger build volume, but a smaller touchscreen. I also prefer the vats on the D8 as they have a transparent window that could be handy to check on prints during the start before they emerge from the resin.
