A quick question for the group. What are people using to clean and help remove the excess resin after a print is done. My prints feel really tacky and want to make support removal easier and want be able to prime and paint these. A uv light chamber? Some kind of special bath or solution to clean them?

Any one who have tried: PrimaCreator Value UV / DLP Resin ? What did you think of it? Smell etc? Its the cheapest resin i have found in europe so far, but i have never seen it before..

My printer has been sitting idle for a couple of months due to lack of time and energy but I decided to print a bunch of Xmas gifts this year so I buckled down and got to it! This Venom Pen holder is also the biggest thing I've printed so far, broke it down into the 2 parts, hollowed out the head and placed my own supports. I was fully expecting to wake up to a half finished print but low and behold it worked! Really glad I picked up a photon! Printed with Anycubic Grey resin at 0.04 and 14 seconds of UV.

Found this interesting. This is Anycubic white after I forgot to take it out from under the UV light for 8 hours (overnight). Doesn't really matter to me since I'll paint. Shown next to white base for color change comparison

Got my uv lamp today, picked a model that I see used in the videos. It survived maybe for a minute until I heard a bang and it died. Took out the fuse from the socket to see if it was blown only to see the fuse plug is just for show. It's not connected to anything. Chinese cheapie stuff is crap?? I know, I'm as shocked as you are!

Hello, fellow 3D addicts!
I just got my Photon home. Worked with one of these for awhile this summer and now I bought my own to mess around. Unboxed, leveled, uv test, dry test on the cube. Everything was fine.
Decided to print a different model for the first resin print, sliced it in the photon's slicer, est. time accoarding was about 50min.
Then transfered the stick to the printer, tried to select the file it took awhile and the screen was lagging. Then it beeped for the longest time I've ever heard and now it doesn't do nothing. No UV detection, no Z movement. Menu works fine but no functions.
Any suggestions?

I UV exposed the IPA in my ultra sonic cleaner to strain it out, and after 5-10 minutes it turned foamy white, and has stayed that way. I had the cleaner on for like 3 minutes of that, should i replace the IPA or has it just been made full of oxygen bubbles?
