Hi, i just got ANYCUBIC UV Sensitive Resin 500ml/1L 355-410nm for Photon 3D Printer . What is the difference from original resin that i got with maschine . new one has 355-410 nm that means that i should change something when im printing? Can someone please help?

Getting ready to UV cure in the sun. I printed this one standing upright to maximize size. My printer is finally somewhat working again. Still seem to need to relevel after each print. Also having the issue where it’s harder to remove from the plate than normal but not too bad and the supports feel like they’re almost cured already which made it difficult to snip off without a little damage to the model. Odd since it’s in the basement and not near a window.

I know this is not photon related - I just got myself i3 mega to print big parts and started printing whole plane fuselages :D

Now what I hate about FDM printers is sooo noticable layer lines!
However came up with a novel way to finish that ..... UV resin printers create amazing finish yes?
Well let's use UV resin as finishing resin - it's so easy to sand away as well :)

Hey, all. I'm looking for suggestions on the print, wash, cure post processing on Anycubic Clear to keep it, well, clear. I normally keep my pieces in my UV setup for a few hours but it seems to turn the clear into more of an amber. It was a beautiful crystal clear when I pulled it off of the build plate. What are you guys doing? Thanks!

Elegoo grey. .025 layer at 8 seconds.

The object is the Opensource Hardware ring on Thingiverse.

Odd yellowing color is from the UV led flashlight that I forgot about when the ring was laying on it.

I can see why jewelry makers love these machines.

I'm trying to make my own curing chamber using a square metal tin and UV lights. Where do you get your UV light strips from? I'm also thinking about using straight light strips instead of flexible ones.
