Has anyone ever used resin to fill a shape on another print? I have a box I made on my fdm printer and it has a heart in the lid. I was thinking of taping off one side and filling it with resin which I would harden with uv. Any thoughts?

what do you all use for your uv lamps? any good ones on amazon? i know that there are some..but it's hard to find just the right one..

any help would be appreciated..i need one from US so i can cure my stuff inside..

Question:

I own a bunch of Photon S printers and every month or two I have to buy a new display for one, due to failures.

1 out of 3 displays I receive from the official Anycubic store on Aliexpress are dead on arrival, they don't open the test detection grid on the display, no UV light is coming through.

There must be more people have or had this problem if it occurs to me so often, yes?

I order for the photon S. What I noticed is that the cable from the display is different from time to time. With or without a black sleeve etc.

They say don't use IPA to clean which would make me think details could be lost? ? Just spray clear coat on it. You have to rinse it wouldn't you or could it be a formulation that drains residue easily?

What do you guys think would happen if I replaced the UV LEDs for 50x stronger ones?

Has anyone experienced a few of the I’ve leds going out? I thought it was my led screen but I’ve replaced that, only to notice while it’s all opened up that only 2 of the leds are lit during the uv test. When I shine a light through the lcd screen I see that it’s actually working fine.

Totdat, my Photon S arrived. But, the sun' allready down and my UV light hasn't arrived het... :'( So later this week I'll try and print my first "Baby Yoda" ( :p ) (or the Anycubic Cube) Keep you poster on progress and def. soms failures...

Greetings everyone, I am in the market for a UV lamp of sorts. Are there any recommendations? I was thinking of getting one of those nail salon lights, but those all have really short timers (like 90 seconds). My understanding is that the mini should sit in the UV for a few minutes and I would prefer not to sit there and hit the 60 second button over and over again.

How long do y'all leave miniatures in your UV bath? I used to do just a minute and I've been trying ~5 minutes. Seems to produce better results. I'm just hella worried about overcuring and cracking.
