At the risk of sounding stupid...

When releveling the build plate, we use a piece of paper to achieve level, as well as establish an offset from the LCD. This becomes Z=0. Has anyone seen what that dimensional offset is supposed to be? That is, a piece of paper mics to about .1mm (with mic squish it's a little less, and naturally there's some variability in paper thickness). And I'm assuming Anycubic chose that as paper is ubiquitous worldwide, not everyone has feeler gauges. So, is .1 mm intended to be the offset from the LCD, and therefore Z=0?

Soooo...I changed my fep yesterday and releveled(stupid idea).
Now I can't get it to perform as before.
No "plop" sound anymore and light supports break away all the time.
Releveled several times using both methods.
Upped the timings and slowed the plate.
Also I opened a new bottle of anycubic grey and am using chitubox 1.6.2.

The fep was tuned to 350 as far as I can tell. The free android apps all kinda suck if you just want to check the frequency.

No idea what to do next aside from releveling and testing again.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Stupid Question: What is the secret to replying to an official support ticket? I never got an email to reply to, but I can see they responded on the site. I don't see a way to reply. Help?

Just got my Photon today. Stupid question for you all... did your photon come with styrofoam inside it? I'm sure it's there to protect the components, I am just curious how you got it out without damaging anything as, at least in this case, it surrounds every single component

I picked up some of the SainSmart Rapid UV resin (flesh colored) and I can't find any consensus on what settings to run it at?

Currently I'm using what i do for Anycubic Aqua Blue. We'll see if it fails or not.

Hi guys, just a quick question I hope.
With the transparent resins, is it important to have the light off time set higher, I'm getting some places on a mini print that looks like excess trapped resin is being cured, especially in eye sockets and against supports etc, general detail on the model comes out well. I had previously printed the same mini in white without the eye issue. Any help would be great
Btw using monocure rapid green + rapid flex

Need a bit of science advice before I buy something stupid.
I'm looking at a 100w blacklight thinking "Oooh big number! That means it cures resin fast right?" but I hear that the optimal curing rate has to do with a specific wavelength. I'm not savvy on wattage or lighting or spectral science so could someone tell me if my reasoning is sound or not? Will a super powerful blacklight cure prints quickly and thoroughly?

Just finished cleaning up a print, tried out monocure+flex for the 1st time, as well as trying to use manual supports using 3dprintingpro support settings and what I learned from his videos. Seems the resins separated, also not sure I got the same sort of details in the 2nd, could be the orientation of the model as well, the right in photos is anycubic white layer height 0.03 8@60s rest @6s the latest is monocure rapid green 75% and rapid flex100 25% layer height 0.03 8@80s rest @14s.
1. Do these settings seem good?? I mean it printed pretty well :) would increasing/decreasing exposure time get better details, especially around the face.
2. Is it just having the face/mini rotated so the face is more horizontal?
3. Is the resin separating something I can fix, stir longer etc, it was an 8+ hr print
Thanks
