Anyone interested in a resin sample swap in the U.K.? I’d love to have a go with Siraya Blu and see if a small part comes out any better then Elegoo Grey. Saves spending £70 on resin which might not be used.

I have Elegoo Grey and happy to trade a small amount if anyone has Siraya Blu?

Resin is out for delivery and I’ll run my first file today. Ya! Figure I’ll start with the photon sample file. The manual says to fill to 1/3? I guess I’ll estimate that pour into the basin.

Hi I am new owner of Photon, the 1st print is hole and pin and 2 small parts, today just print the sample model and eva01. I use Kcamel washable resin. I feel still sticky after wash, is this normal or still need to wash with 90% alcohol?

Hey everyone! I’m new to the group and also very new to 3D printing! I just got a Photon in the mail yesterday and set it up last night. I had the Photon run the sample file overnight and it looks like nothing actually printed, but there was some resin cured at the bottom of the vat. I just tried running it again with the same results... none of the resin seems to be curing to the platform at all and I have no idea why this could be happening. Has this happened to anyone else?? Thanks so much!

Hey everyone!

Anycubic noob here, about 80-100h of printing.

I've had great experience after using anycubic resin that came with a printer, and some other sample from the seller (Deadpool bust).

After I used it up I got myself Monocure Rapid Gunmetal Gray, and ever since I can't quite get what's wrong.

Orientation and hollowing didn't seam to get any different results, I went with angle graph. What could it be? Wrong exposure, weak supports, suction, z wobble etc.?

Ok y'all m stumped I got a new anycubic photon printer. And noon of the files are working I've tried different slicers including the one that is on there site the only sample one that so came with it works and that's for a .pws file if I remember correctly. What is going wrong or what am I doing wrong?

Hello. I’m in the process of buying a Elegoo Mars for my friend for Christmas.
I’m looking for someone who has one that could make a couple pieces for me like a baby yoda, maybe a ship or two from Star Trek or Orville, “samples” of something not too expensive but that I could get before Christmas so I can wrap them up and he will think that’s all he’s getting ... until I surprise him with a printer to make his own designs ?
I’m in Southern California desert so the closer the quicker I will receive them.
They will also show him what his gift is capable of and inspire him even more.

Hey guys! Thanks for your add to the group.

So, I purchased a Anycubic Photon S a couple of days ago, waiting for it to arrive in the start of next week - very excited. I read through this group here and noticed a few people had their machine arrive without resin, even though it's stated that it comes with a sample bottle of 250ml.

Now, I am really excited about this machine, so if the machine shows up without resin that does put a dent in my carefully laid plans - I have done some research and I am looking forward to testing the machine, learning how best to use it and take care of it, but if I don't have anything to print that becomes a big problem.

To avoid this issue entirely I thought that I might as well order a bottle of resin now. I am mainly going to use the machine to print miniatures for tabletop RPG and Wargaming and the occasional terrain piece, though I am going to limit the latter.

Here's my question for those of you with experience; What kind of resin should I get for miniature models for Tabletop RPGs? I have read a few articles and the PrimaCreator Value does seem to fit the job, but Elegoo Rapid from what I can see looks to be fine as well, but there are some reports that models with Elegoo are a bit brittle. So... what kind of resin do you guys reccomend for what I'm gonna use it for, I can see that there's a few other people using their Photon for similar purposes so rain your wisdom upon me!

I found this brand on Brazil with affordable prices. Two 500ml bottles for R$365 with free shipping on ML. I bought a 45ml sample and if it's really good quality, I'll be back here to say.

Has anyone here from Brazil ever used this brand?
