So I have been printing in the Anycubic green resin that comes with the Anycubic photon. I’ve heard complaints from people I’ve printed for that it’s brittle and breaks easy. So I asked around and was given the advice to mix it with monocure flex resin. So I bought the bottle in the pics. However, I do not know how much to mix in and what I should change my settings to. Any advice?

I print with a 4:1 mix of anycubic to monocure flex100 on a 10 second exposure time

Start at 10% flex to base ratio as a test, if that's not good enough, work your way up by 10% to however much flexibility you want.

depends on how flexible you want the print to be or just shatter proof. 10% flex is a good starting point..

For 20% flex to 80% anycubic I typically add 2 seconds to my curing time.. so give it a go with 10 as it is on a small model and you can increase by a second or two if it doesn't turn out as good

I use a 10%flex to 90% Anycubic green. 15 Sec exposure at 0.05 on original Photon

Does the color of the anycubic have any impact on the exposure time? I use anycubic grey and would also like to add on some flex.

not really as flex is transparent. Just need to adjust the exposure for the mix

Thanks! So would you still recommend just adding 2 seconds to the exposure time?

if you are going for a 20 or 25% of flex. Yes. If you go 10% try one second more. Mix them very well. I generally measure in 2 different cups, pour them in a bottle and shake

Tenacious is just like Monocure Flex. I've been really happy with Siraya Tech stuff. Like Joe said, the Gray (non-brittle) is awesome. I use that stuff straight up without any flex added and it holds up really well. My older Anycubic green stuff is a lot more fragile.

A 10:1 ratio allows me to print minis that survive a 4 for drop.

Flex100 is insanely strong smelling as an fyi. You HAVE to have outside ventilation.

what type of minis? I tend to print BattleTech ones which are heavier and I find break easier than the dungeons and dragons ones which have less mass.

These 4. The ship in the back is the heaviest but to your point that one is about 80/15% mix.
