Hey guys, thank you for the add. I got my printer about 2 weeks ago, but have been travelling a bit, so not much time to play with it. Anyway... I've tried a couple of prints that mostly worked. I've been trying to find a resin that has similar properties to TPU (for FDM), so a bit flexible and very tough. I'm making some camera supports for my racing drones and they take quite a few tumbles.
I used the Druckwedge Typ D Flex and the print shapes came out fine (with mostly stock settings), but the material was not so flexible and strong as well as being was brittle. So I tried the Photocentric Flexible UV Resin, which took a little tweaking of the settings to actually print (0.1mm, base 120s 8 layers, off time 4s, normal exposure time 23s). The print came out well but, even though it was a lot flexier than the Druckwedge, it was still not quite resistant enough to tearing. I'm trying the Photocentric Firm and Tough resins next week when I'm back home to see if they do the trick. Anyone has any recommendations for the tougher/stronger resins out there? Cheers!
