I want to conduct a series of experiments on a UV-LED SLA printer. These experiments aim to develop a process similar in speed with what Carbon3d achieves with their oxygen inhibitor dead-zone in their CLIP process, but using a different technique, without the proprietary oxygen permeable window.
Since I don't want to spend the time to build an experimental platform -now I realise that except the FEP film, I have all the parts- I am looking to buy a ready-made printer that will cater to my needs. And looking to Anycubic Photon, it seems it might just do, but although I've gathered what information there was out there, there are a few questions that I hope you can help me out with:
1. What is the controlling hardware of Anycubic Photon? Did any of you disassemble the printer?
In this video

the inside is showed but I cannot see any make or model, perhaps it's proprietary to Anycubic.
By the way, Anycubic has really good support videos, and their attention to detail is a great plus!
2. Is the firmware OpenSource?
3. Has anybody tried a homebrewed firmware?
If the controlling hardware is as presumed above, it can be replaced with Arduino & RPi, but I would much like it to not have to go through this hassle.
4. What is the fastest curing resin from Anycubic - what type & color ? And on this matter what is the fastest curing resin in the 405nm UV spectrum that you have experience with?
Thank you for your time!
