Hello,
I think I remember someone facing this some days back. My printer print some random part that are not on the stl nor on the photon file.

Here are some pictures of two print with the issue (2 in a row ...) :

Do you have an idea on what could be causing this ?
I'm also in touch with photon support (who does not respond fast ... at all, only one email from them for now...)

Thanks !

Hello,

I need some advice here.

I'm using the 3d monocure rapid gray, and did not managed to print successfully for now.

I've been able to print these model with the green that came with the printer.

Print settings are 10s, 0.050mm, 8 bottom layers 80s each.

As you can see on the picture, some supports failed to print.

Do you have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

Well, new day, new resin, some failure !

I've been trying to print another tank, with monocure 3d rapid gray.

So first of all, I've been trying to configure it, with the ameralabs city. You can find enclosed the output.

On the left of the picture, 10µ, 8s cure. On the right 10µ 12s cure.

We can see that the buildings are much more detailed on the left (8s), but some details were missing, the tower in the back.
On the other side of the city, we can see the same result.

So, 8s seems to less to have details solid enough, and 12s overcured, we lack some details also. I've decided to go for 10s curing, for the tank.

As you can see, some of the supports did not stick to the bottom layer, this resulting in a badly shaped wheel.

What am I missing here ?

I've got far better result with Anycubic green.

Hello everyone,
I've printed this piece yesterday. Layer height was 20 microns.
I feel like there is still too many visible layers.
I've already disassemble the printer, to check for z wobble (was not able to tight more the center wheel, because it was too hard to put the grey part back in place on the rail then) and grease the z axis again (after removing the old grease), but this hasn't change anything.

I'm seeing a lot of print that seems better than what I've been able to achieve for now. Print size is around 55mmx20x25.

And I also got this big line, highlighted by the red arrow.

This is anycubic green that came with the printer. Settings were something like 80s 8 base layers, 20 microns, 11s per layer, 1s off.

Do you have any idea on how to improve this ? Am I doing something wrong ?

Thanks.

Hello guys,

I've been trying to print some dice for a game (gaslands) but for now, I'm unsuccessful.

The one on the left was printed with supports, the one on the right was not.

Issue on the right : first 8 layer were 90s cured, so overcooked, ruined the details

Issue on the left : First layer is not flat ... I don't understand why ?

Issue on both, we can still see some layers a lot.

How do you manage to print this kind of stuff ? With 45° angle ? I tried this also, but was not able to get it stick to it's support, so nothing printed.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

Tried my photon today, for the first time, using this stl file :
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1388237

Nothing came out. I watched the preview and saw that nothing was sliced.

Did someone encountered this ?

Some other slicing worked fine, but this skull does not want to. Even if I tried at different angle, the only thing I managed to slice was the support ...
