Hi all, I moved a few months ago, and just recently unpacked my Photon. When it came to the power supply, I didn’t label it, and since I’ve got 2 other power supplies, one going to the heater and the other going to the curring station, I can’t remember which goes to it. Could someone please post a photo of their power supply? I’m pretty sure it’s the 12v 10amp one, but I would appreciate a little reminder.

Good morning, how’s everyone today? As some of y’all may recall I built a heater for my printer the other day, well I couldn’t get it to heat. After a bit of fiddling with it, and checking to make sure I had it wired correctly, I decided to look up the information for the thermostat since mine didn’t come with instructions. Once I read the instructions I realized that it was programmed to cool not heat and that I needed to change settings. Now it’s heating great and I’ll be able to print soon. Thought I’d share this link for anyone who has a similar issue.

Got my heater unit installed, and it’s ready to run. But since it was end of day I decided to shut down and wait till tomorrow to print, especially since no one overnights at work.

So I made one of these to regulate temperature in my print chamber, now I just need to run the wires to the external power supply. Any suggestions that won’t drill through the outer chassis? I considered drilling through the red plate that everything sits on, but I’m not sure if that would be a good idea. I want to leave it as intact as possible so that I don’t void any warranty’s, but I know not everyone has that opinion. I suppose I could make a couple spacers and run the cord through the hole that the fume extractor sits on ether side of.

After chatting with my boss at work, and talking about resins, I got to wondering is there an abs resin? I seem to recall hearing about something along those lines, but I don’t really remember.

Got a couple bottles of this in today, I hope it works as well as advertised. I’m planning to print some robotic parts from it for a costume, so hopefully this stuff will hold up.

Hi all, got a question about tolerance for the group. I’ve got a project I’m gonna be doing that will have some slip fit tolerances, it’s a robotics project. I need to keep my parts pretty sturdy, so I’ll probably order some of the blue resin that’s the one member has said good things about, sorry I can’t remember your name at the moment. I’ve not had time to do a lot of experiments with my printer, I have it at work so I can’t work with it on weekends right now, and don’t want to bring it home till it warms up. So for the people that have experimented a lot, is the photon capable of staying within .005”in in tolerance?

Printed this test piece yesterday, came out looking nice, indexed tabs were a little off but otherwise pretty good. Lost all detail on the face that it was sitting on, though if printed full size that probably wouldn’t be an issue. Has anyone use rafts when printing? I’m considering redoing it with a raft.

Good morning, I have an interesting question. I have my printer at work, and told my boss that they were welcome to print with it if they wanted. They came to me yesterday saying they were thinking of using it to make a couple of prototypes for some electrical components. He wanted to know the flammability rating of the cured resin, so I contacted anycubic asking what the UL94V-0 rating was. They sent me an updated msds, and I got the one on the photonsters page. Does anyone here know what the flammability rating is?

Does anyone have a copy of or know where I can find a copy of the material data safety sheets for the anycubic resins?

Edit*

Found the msds on the photonsters webpage. I’m not sure if the question I needed answered is in them, but maybe it is. I needed information on the resins UL94V rating.
