1. The USB drive that came with my Photon is not being read by the printer or my laptop. It is dead.

2. Because it is dead, I can't transfer the files to my new USB drive.

3. The Anycubic website is not responding so I am unable to download the files and load them onto my new USB drive.

4. Could somebody upload the files that came with the original USB drive online, and send me the link so I can download them and then load them onto my new USB drive.

Apart from fume extraction and maybe some charcoal filter over the power cable hole this is read to go. I might rattle off a cheeky first print while the house is empty. Wish me luck!

Haven’t printed anything yet, but I picked up the cabinet that will for the basis of my enclosure.
I’ll be printing by the weekend. Can’t wait!

I’m giving some thought to an enclosure.

Would 2 PC cooling fans shift enough air?

I’m think one drawing clean filtered air in, and a second to extract it through another filter?

I’ve had this for a few years now but only just dragged it out of the shed.

Be honest. Am I overdoing it with the UV?

Evening all,

I'm just playing about with the slicer and I have a couple of questions about two unrelated .stl files that i'm looking into printing.

1) .stl file 1 is has two components in fixed position. If I could separate them I think they'd both fit nicely on the print plate, however when I rotate or move them they move as a pair. Is it possible to separate them into two .stl objects so they can be added individually?

2) Object 2 is made up of about 30 individual .stl files. Only one of those components is too large despite rotation etc. Is it possible to edit that particular file and chop it into smaller parts, for want of a better term? I'd rather not reduce the scale of the model at this stage.

3) Object 2 again. Some of the parts are so small that I'm wondering if I can stack them in the slicer vertically so they would print on top of each other with supports in between. Now I imagine if this happens it increases the risk of failure. So with that in mind. Is it better to cram as much as possible into the slicer or is it better to print only a few at a time and to not stack them?

They're probably basic questions but I'm trying to play catch up and I have a lot to learn.

Thanks in advance for the help.
