Hello guys, i apologise if this is a bit OT but i’m thinking of buying a photon and i need some info. I saw some of you printing dental stuff and i have a couple of questions about it.
In the video you can see my print of a dental scan found on thingiverse, printed on fdm, 0.2mm nozzle 6 hours. How long would it take to print something like that on a photon? How many of them could you fit in a single print?
And the second question is, what do you use to scan and make a 3D model of the teeth? I briefly tried photogrammetry with Capturing Reality and the results are promising. Any other solution accessible on a budget?
Before you ask, i will not sell clear aligners or mess up with somebody else’s teeth. This is just a fun and personal DIY project just to see how far i can go.
Thanks in advance everyone!
