Getting this strange pattern on these failed prints which leads me to believe the build plate is in fact not perfectly flat. Am I safe in assuming this base on the fact that I’ve had zero fully successful prints in the last month and have releveled about 1000 times and my other photon runs just about perfect 99% of time (meaning I obviously know how to level well enough. I was printing in clear resins before and never noticed this pattern before

Hey does anybody know the website where you can check your STL for errors/issues. I’ve heard it 100 times but can’t seem to recall now

So nothing but problems as usual. My printer was working fine. I left for a week, come back home and the z axis won’t move so I update firmware and surprisingly it works this time (couple weeks ago my other machine needed new motherboard) so anyways I start a print and this happens:

Instead of a smooth up and down, it’s like 2 quick jerks yo and then one down.........needless to say I checked the print at 2% and it was a fail. Anyone seen this before?

After having print issues (likely levelling based) I decided to try the flint read method.........complete failure. This is begging for to get extremely frusterating that the more I’ve learned and know about resin printing te less it seems I have successful prints. I just don’t get it anymore

Brand new fep (factory sealed in vat) seems to keep failing on the same side (I switched from last print to make sure). To me that would mean it isn’t the build plate and isn’t the lcd. This print is as fine until about halfway when you can see it stuck to the fep and pulled the base layers off the build plate (usually when that happens in my experience it fails during the printing of the base plate) this is the first time I’ve had a print pull of halfway through and I have printed literally hundreds of these helmets. Could this just be a faulty fep? Perhaps too tight/loose? Maybe my exposure is too high? Again it’s hard to say but I’ve done prints this way for weeks with no fails. And also I releveled 3 times to make sure it is t levelling. It’s not the print that’s failing it’s just sticking too hard to fep. The helmets that stay on the build plate are on there pretty good. Any insight would be appreciated. I’m still learning but usually can trouble shoot these things pretty well

Hey guys I’m looking for a recommendation. My photon crapped out after 3 weeks (z axis won’t move. So I messaged anycubic after trying a few of your suggestions. Anycubic responded and basically had me do the same things that members suggested and still to no avail. They told me to test the motor which I did, and it seems operational. I have waited 3 days for a response from them on what to do next and no response. I purchased my unit from amazon and just recently purchased another one. I’m wondering if I should stick it out with anycubic and hope they fix the issue or should I just contact amazon and return the 1st unit for a refund?

Looking for a little insight before i contact anycubic. I did a print that completed perfectly. The printer bed then rose like normal. I cleared the bed, put it back on and went to start another print and the bed won’t move. Tried the buttons......nothing. I turned off and on, unplugged and all that and I (i think) did an eepom reset as I’ve seen mentioned as a fix for this and still no response or movement from the Z axis. Anything else I should try before emailing anycubic? The unit is about 3 weeks old and have had no real issues to this point

Hey guys, I’m noticing recently that after each layer, when my plate pulls away from the fep, it’s making a sound which is clearly the cured resin pulling away from the fep but that it’s struggling a bit to do so. The prints are turning out good in most cases but I’m curious what could be the cause. Is my exposure time perhaps too high? Could it have to do with the tension of my fep? Any insight would be great
