When shaking the bottle of resin before adding to vat... should you wait for the bubbles to disperse or just get into the print?

Does any body ever use light supports in Chitubox?

I’ve only ever used heavy but tried the light ones once with a failure to hold the print.

FEP sheets.... what thickness are most people running with? Just bought 100 micron sheets... maybe I should have gone 150’s?

Also, can they be too tight??

First, a shout out to this community.. the feed back we new printers get is fantastic and enlightening.

Secondly, check the base out here. Thicker on the front and de-laminations. Half the supports didn’t print. I assume plate not level? Only levelled it on Thursday!!

Printed a full rim the other day same way.. came out perfect.

Just wondering how often everyone re-levels their build plate? I feel it should be done now and then before a failed print draws your attention to it.

I’ve noticed a little bump as the plate raises between layers. You’ll see it in this video. Is this the cured layer sticking to the film in the bottom of the vat and then releasing.. and is it a problem?

Appreciate any thoughts on this..
