Sorry to ask about this resin tester again, but I don't get it. So in the pic we have the 100 micron one. Column 1-5 are not interesting, the rest is. So column 6-8 show pretty much the same detail. 9 and 10 suddenly show up with 4 extra levels of detail. So what is the right choice here? 6 or 9?
Also, seems weird that the 50 micron test earlier pointed out a 14 sec curing time. 12 secs for 100 micron doesn't make sense, and even 18 seconds for double the layer size seems not much...

I'm looking for the most detail, right? So that would be column 10 a.k.a. 20 seconds? I used to print my elegoo black models on 12 seconds exposure, but that was not enough it seems...

Say hi to gimpy. No idea what happened here, I guess the supports on that one leg failed? So that flappy foot is the condensed leg? Weird...

So, 5 guys on the plate. 3 turn out perfect, 1 has minor imperfections, 1 is a mess. The guy with the stick in his hand has some damage on the elbow and stick, that can be explained. But the guy that's supposed to hold a bucket turns out holding a shopping bag, and the close up of his legs shows that he's... shifted? How does that happen? How does the bucket turn out flat? And how do his knees shift like that, with the rest of the plate not being affected? Is it a support issue? Is it a fault in the sliced file? I can't explain that with my limited knowledge.

So, I switched from the photon stock slicer to chitubox. It's better. Way better. But, the sliced files I generate with chitubox don't always work with the photon file validator. Some do, most don't. I did some searching on GitHub and read it's an issue that has been solved a few months ago. So, am I the only one with this issue? I have the latest versions of both chitubox and the file validator, but do I need to patch something? Please don't make me go back to the photon stock slicer... :(

Ok, wife complains about the smell. If I want to keep printing I better do something fast. Is there a software way to disable the fan in the case, or only 'hardwarematic'? Sorry if this is common knowledge, but a quick Google didn't turn anything up.

The quest for the perfect tank continues. This one had a little problem with the skirts over the tracks and an eye on top of the turret broke off. Still, good enough to deserve a dose of black spray paint.
When they were talking about a learning curve they were not kidding. But maybe the next one will be perfect.

Maybe someone in this group can help me. I'm looking for 28mm world war 2 infantry print files to make some combat scenes. There is plenty of terrain and tanks etc, but almost no infantry. The few designs on offer on thingiverse etc are a bit underwhelming. Does anyone know where to look, or maybe a patron that does ww2 stuff? Thanks!

So my photon started squeeking, guess it needs some tender loving... What do I use to lube it up? I think I read somewhere that WD-40 is a big no-no?

Proud of my first 'difficult' print. Now I can really start exploring what this photon can do! :)
