Hey guys/gals!
Please help the new guy, I'm pulling my hair out...
I fly RC Jets and trying to make scale detail parts for them, including cockpit components, antennas etc and I'm having a hell of a time after owning this for 1 week. My print success rate is 25%!
?
I have spent hours reading and here's where I'm at:
Using the freebie green resin until it's gone- then I will switch to the anycubic grey.
I've leveled my build plate 8 times without a change in results (paper method). I rebuilt my build plate assembly- nada. I noticed my FEP came scratched from the factory, I replaced it with the spare. Immediately after I test printed the lattice cube with perfect results so I thought I had fixed it...
Then I attempted to print and had one antenna fail and stick to FEP. Still good print results tho (for my lack of success)
Then I attempted to print this cockpit part twice and it failed both times. Please help!
Settings:
base layers 8 @60-65 seconds
.02-025 layers at 8-8.5 secs respectively
I hear the fep sticking on most prints which I hear is a good indication of a well leveled bed.
Lastly my lattice cube has a nominal diameter of 35mm and mine printed 35.98mm. is this growth normal? If like to hold fairly tight tolerances if possible... Thanks crew!!
