Seems that I don't manage to print a hollow cylinder (an Android figurine). One side of the bottom lip retracts, all the times. I added more support, re-calibrated the printer, nothing. In the last attempt the platform even detached.

It is as if there is a lot of strain on one side of the print and it pulls away so much that the supports or the platform break.

Any tip how to avoid this?

Thicker and wobbly side of 3d printed box
Been printing a small case for an electronic project. I tried two orientations: straight up and at an angle, both raised by 5mm from the place, with supports.
In both cases, the side of the box closest to the build plate (where the supports stick) is thicker and "wobblier" than it should be. I would have expected to see the support "dots" of course, but not to get it uneven. Of course i could sand it down etc but I'd love to get a clean straight surface directly from the printer. Any clue why this might happen? 翻譯年糕
