Hey guys, I have a new photon, and I've bee have amazing success. But with a new resin comes new issues and I was wondering if there was any suggestions.
I am using monocure 3d black rapid resin.
I have
- shook the bottle before using it.
-Drained the tray between tests.
-tried exposures between 7 seconds and 12 seconds.
-tried changing angles and supports.
-washed my model in isopropanol
But each time the print comes out with a wavey effect on any side of the print which faces the print bed.
I have used this great print
https://ameralabs.com/blog/town-calibration-part/
and I get amazing prints on the sides and top, but test 7 comes out wavey unlike the perfect pillars and tiny print on the front
In the photo you can see the perfect ear which faces away from the print bed but the bottom of the bust is wavey and would need a serious sand to return flat.
Any suggestions would help as I have heard that monocure is a good brand so the error must be mine.
Thanks in advance
