Any tips on printing and finishing models that are printed in multiple parts then assembled?

Jennifer and I are working on some that just aren’t fitting together as well as we’d like.

My first print. My wife has already done quite a few but this was my first.

I wanted the open-mouth serpent to print without supports so I angled her really far back. Supporting the rest was hard, but the face and front serpents turned out about as well as I could expect. The individual fingers aren’t as good as I’d like but I don’t know if I could do better.

Photon S, mixture of Elegoo Gray and Anycubic translucent green, 0.02 layers, 6s exposure. (4s wasn’t long enough to build the supports). 3DPrintingPro-style tiny supports for minimal model damage.
