Hi all, does anyone have any idea why the mirrored model in this group is not being picked up by chitubox. They were all positioned and supported in prusaslicer and exported with supports as an STL.

Because the normals have been flipped. In 3D modelling, each face has a normal, which stores the information of which side should be the outside. Currently, that model is turned inside out

I had a similar issue. I was told to put it in 3D builder on Windows and it would fix.
It told me there were errors, I clicked fix and the model came out good after that.

If 3D builder doesn't fix it you can load the model into blender, select it and go to edit mode, then recalculate normals then export it again as an stl.

eaziest way is to flip it alone save as stl then repair, and then suport it, and again save as stl...

yeah and for some reason always use diferent name do not rewrite existing files for some reason its lazy
