I am currently having huge problems with my Photon, after months of successful printing. A few days ago I noticed that my printer was making weird noises from time to time. It appears that the stepper motor is trying to move but is not actually moving (or at least not completely). I greased it up but the problem still remains (it got a little better I think but it is still preventing successful prints). Since then it also happened that the motor was unable to move the z rod and got completely stuck. I needed to turn the z-rod manually to get it going again. Did somebody have this problem before? Or any ideas on how to solve it? Do I need a motor replacement?
