I have tried desperately to read everything I can on my issue, but so far I haven't found a solid fix, other then it might be a motherboard.

I just unboxed my Photon today and was just about to start the leveling process when I went to move the Z-axis up to make room for the bed, but the Z-Axis arm doesn't move. It makes a grinding sound and looks like it WANTS to move but won't.
I tried moving it with my hand and that works. I also tried some of the screws around it per some of the suggestions here. No luck.
The one thing I didn't try is a Firmware update, it seems like a hardware issue but I am not sure.
If something like this has already been posted let me know and I will go back to searching again. I am waiting on support but I am not sure what their turnaround time is, somethings I read are weeks.
