Hey dear people,
got my Photon last week and was super happy with my initial prints (with the standard green resin that it comes with).
Now I need to print some more technical prototypes that have to hold up to some abuse. My bet was on the Photocentic DLP Firm White resin, but results where a little underwhelming. Also the 20s exposure as suggested by
Mario Kaufmann
(Thanks for your research btw!) is just horribly long with 13,5 hours of print time (and that 4 times, as I had to split up the model because of size).
So does anyone have a suggestion of what resin to use instead? ABS like strength would be ideal, but then its just for prototypes that will be handled rather carefully... so I can make a compromise here.... More importantly: Can't wait 2 whole days just for one final prototype. And final resolution should be better.
Looking forward to your suggestion. I'm really surprised about this community. You guys are great!
Edit: Ill post some pictures of my print once im done waiting for 13 hours
