Shit. Uhh seems to be kinda on there. IPA didn't really get it off. Searching the group, this appears to be not normal. How do I remove it?

I had to let the alcohol sit on it for a good while. 15-20 minutes or so.

Press on the fep from underneath a little and use your plastic scraper ton gently scrape it off

Randy Becker okay cool. I'll soak it for a bit. Thank you!

Sebastian Steenbock okay I'll try that. I'm trying to be exceedingly gentle with this FEP sheet thank you

Sebastian Steenbock I second this suggestion. I have had similar failures and that is what got them off for me

Aaron Dunkerly I tend to use my finger nail through a glove... just to bairly get under it and peel it up while slowly sliding a plastic scraper thing under it

Cure and push from bottom.

I'd like to also add that I've used blue tack before when needing to get off really tiny stuck pieces. Worked well.

Put in the freezer or leave to bathe in IPA if you have any left :)

Lift it with finger from bottom or use IPA and try first method

I clean the FEP off and then give it a bit then flick the FEP from the bottom and it usually dislodges it from the FEP.

In my experience? Spend 15 minutes with a plastic scraper cursing the name of whatever gods come to mind.

Sorry I tried searching the group so bear with me. Im on my 3rd attempt at printing the default cube that came on the flash drive. My FEP sheet sounds like a snare, i leveled it with paper, my build plate is pretty darn flat id say. And its pulling nothing up from the resin. I guess that means I need to up the initial layer exposure? Is it common for the default file on the drive to need adjustment? The printers going now so I cant check, do I need to reslice the file to up the exposure or can I adjust it on the machine? Thank you!

It’s made for the transparent green I believe. That’s got a fairly low exposure time. What resin are you using?

I picked up a bottle of black since my printer did not have any sample resin. That would probably be fairly different then?

Aaron Dunkerly yeah. Black needs more time in my experience. Probably because transparent allows more uv to penetrate a little better. Do you get the base on the build plate or is it all on the FEP

It gets on the build plate too. It gets submerged a tad when its printing. Bottle says I need to set the exposure to 60 seconds.

This sheet will help you a LOT in setting the proper exposure times: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j......
