When curing, does it matter whether your resin is behind plastic vs. glass? Does UV penetrate both alright, or is one better than the other?

Reading through posts on both the Anycubic Photon group and the Elegoo Mars group, I've heard a lot of people talk about curing their used IPA to get the resin out, and curing their prints in water to make sure they come out not-tacky.

I'm planning to use mason jars inside a cure chamber to cure my used IPA and prints, but I've read some sources that say glass blocks the UV... at least more than plastic. Does anyone have experience with putting their stuff in plastic vs. glass jars to cure?

So Print #2, still learning, support side is poc marked from the supports, (they were medium i think) thinking of going for light supports next time

Not had any issues with adhesion, forgot to adjust the resin settings first time round for this print and that even stuck to the bed fine @ 30sec

Really pleased with this printer

Hey all, hoping someone can help me please, no matter what I slice it always seems to hang the printer, i've tried models that worked before and new ones, have tried rolling the firmware back to 4.2.17 and again to 4.2.18, Tried Chitubox 1.5 and 1.6.1 new usb stick, leaving the machine off for several hours and it's still happening, is this a known issue?

Hi folks. Got my printer couple weeks ago and resin this past Friday. I seemed to have lost the cube test model since installing the software. I was doing various easy downloads like walls on the software just to get the feel of it. Anyway I would prefer to test with the cube file but it is no longer in saved files and I can't locate it. However when I put the original usb stick in the printer it does show up. So can I rely on this to print without checking parameters etc and then why does it show up on the printer menu but not in the software on my computer. Probably simple but I am at a loss. Thanks in advance
