Is temperature a big issue? I've only had my photon for about 3 weeks and i'm getting failures now that I didn't get at first. Not completely catastrophic, just things like missing legs. I print in a workshop and the temperatures are dropping. It's about 60 to 65 during the day and probably 55 or lower at night in there.

So anyone have some tips for Siraya Blu? Anything I should know? From what I've read it needs to be at least 25c. Will it work for printing an extruder?

I received my printer a couple of weeks ago and have completed a few prints. I purchases the eSun Water Washable resin with my printer thinking it would be a bit easier than dealing with IPA. I have seen a few posts about semi-safely disposing the water afterwards but was wondering if I could get some kind of consensus. I am planning to do the following: Place any resin contaminated water in a plastic container outside to evaporate. Once done, dispose of any of the remaining cured resin with my trash. Is that an okay approach or would anyone recommend something different? Thanks in advance!

The first screenshot shows how Prusa Slicer placed the initial support for the first layer (orange color) on the model. If finds all those islands and put at least one support. Placement of those support is either on one end, in the middle or a third part of the island strip. Is such method of adding support already enough for the first part of the model? Additional support were also added 9 layers later at 0.05mm per layer. I am thinking of adding additional support on the middle and the other end making sure the pulling action from the FEP will bring that part without bending much.

I can find this out on my own but why waste resin and time when someone already knew the answer from their experience. I believed those who are also just beginning to understand how support should be added can learn from this.

For a phantom layer problem that I have on the photon (related to this post https://www.facebook.com/groups/AnycubicPhoton/permalink/1859503194194314/ ) I bought a new pendrive to try an alternative solution (many say that the photon included with the photon can give many problems).
After formatting it (in FAT32) and copying the files to it, when I connect it to the printer, the photon won't turn on. The red LED inside lights up, but the fan does not start and the screen remains black.
But if I turn on the Photon without pendrive or with the original one, everything goes as before.

What can it be?

Followed leveling guide, and the resin exposure settings from the community files, and my first test print was a success!

Hey there Photonsters!

I am having a problem that I hope someone can help me with.

I got my Anycubic Photon S on Monday and have been printing since - all of my models have come out flawlessly since then but yesterday, when I tried to put in another print I ran into an issue that I can't get around.

I have a great USB stick (not the one that came with the printer) that served me well for all the prints, but suddenly the screen on the printer started saying; "Failded to read file." whenever I stick it in and try and print.

The print screen on the printer, that usually shows a small picture of the slice is also empty.

Has anyone run into this problem before, and might know how to fix it?

Is there somewhere I can order a replacement build plate for my regular Photon? I don't see just the plate on anycubic.com or Amazon, thanks.
